I see should I include some of the defences presented in the defence template or the above is sufficient?

You adapt paragraphs 2 and 3 from the defence template , then when complete you slot them back into the template after removing the existing 2 & 3  , replacing them with yours. Then you renumber if required ( some people use more than 2 paragraphs , so everything below gets renumbered if required )

Just an update I have gone ahead and followed your steps to draft up a defense, could you take a look?

The facts as known to Defendant:

2. It is admitted that Defendant was the registered keeper and driver of the vehicle in question but liability is denied.

3.  The defendant parked his car on ____  at ____  based on the fact that the parking is free for up to 2 hours. The defendant was at the said location in order to do shopping and left well ahead of the 2 hours of free parking allowed on the site. Due to the unclear markings and signage, it is not known to the defendant that they were parked in a disabled bay parking space. The defendant would invite the claimant to provide strict proof of their allegation. 

I assume everything else does not need changing. Thanks again for your replies

Sure, I will probably wait just before January 10th to email the defence, so no rush on my end. And that took me way longer than it should have to notice . But I'm using Grammarly and for some reason, it keeps suggesting I change to 'defense'

Probably it or your device is set to default us English , instead of UK English

Microsoft Windows and office do the same , meaning somebody has to change the country and keyboard etc
