Thanks Redx, I just meant in terms of nothing to complete now until they reach out to me...
Following the 12 steps I know the N180 form is next. Is there any gain in waiting for them to send or is it best to just press on and download it?
Also, at which point to I submit my evidence?0 -
Wait until it's posted out , then submit it
At the Witness statement Plus exhibits plus summary costs assessment stage , in several months time , a few weeks before the hearing

Make sure you receive an acknowledgement of the defence received.
Also I believe that at present it is the forums advice to send copy of defence to claimant?2 -
I've requested a response from them. Only received the auto response so far.
Interested on this too please....1505grandad said:Also I believe that at present it is the forums advice to send copy of defence to claimant?0 -
Auto response is fine - that means they've got it.
The CCBC is mandated to send the defence to the Claimant, but it doesn't really hurt to also copy it to them. (But be aware that the Claimant's clock to decide on whether to continue the claim only starts ticking when they receive it from the CCBC - and you will never know when that actually happens).Jenni x4 -

At least one PPC routinely claims not to have received court mandated documents/evidence. We have seen cases postponed and possibly even lost because the defendant couldn't prove they sent something.
You could email it and include yourself and even one other recipient (family member/friend). That way you can show it arrived in your inbox (and possibly another one as well) therefore on the balance of probabilities it arrived at the claimant/s and solicitor's inbox. Either that or the claimant has a problem with their email system.
You could also send it by post, first class from a Post Office counter, ensuring you obtain the all important proof of posting. This normally has the recipients address on it.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Thanks Fruitcake.
To avoid any nonsense later on, I've just sent to the claimant and to their shambolic legal turds, with myself and my wife CCd in as recommended.1 -
