@Coupon-mad yes I posted it on page 3 and you said they were compliant so not something to feature in the defence

Hi all, my mum received an email from DCB Legal to say they have received the defence and their client intends to proceed, with a copy of their N180 questionnaire. I have read the sticky post and know how the questionnaire should be filled out, but just wondering does she have to wait to receive the questionnaire via post (and send back via post), or are you allowed to download and fill out the questionnaire online and send via email instead of post? Thanks0

She should be following the 12 numbered steps by coupon mad in the defence template post , plus the DQ advice in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , both in announcements !
She checks her claim history ( or waits for the N180 from the CCBC in the post )
She then downloads the N180 pdf form from MCOL , fills it in and emails it to the ccbcaq email address and also copies in the claimants lawyers , so one email , to addresses ( 2 destinations )
We hope that you haven't stopped reading the 12 numbered steps in that Defence template post , first post or the newbies FAQ sticky thread second post ?
Do not fill in any DQ sent by Dcb legal2 -
Ah got it thanks! Was reading from the newbies thread which links to the post saying about sending it by post. Will do that - thanks

Hi all, my mum received a letter of Notice of Allocation to small claims track, it says to take place on a date fixed by the court (but have not received a letter with the date yet). I need to send documents by 28th April. I have just been reading the sticky thread with the advice on the Evidence and Witness Statement. I just wondered are points A-C still relevant evidence to include in my case (where my mum was the keeper but not the driver at the time, so is it it still relevant/helpful for the case to include photos/video, or no point?)
Secondly should I avoid including point D given they were POFA compliant in my case (see notice higher up in this thread)?
Thanks0 -
I don't know which points A-D you mean?
The most recent WS with most things covered is by @ricky_balboaPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You (well your Mum) should write and submit a witness statement with evidence that backs up and supports what was put in the defence. Your Mum should not put conflicting arguments in a WS. If she said Keeper and not Driver in the defence it should be keeper and not driver in the WS.2

@Coupon-mad hey, I mean this one which is on the newbies thread (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822/newbies-private-parking-ticket-old-or-new-read-these-faqs-first-thankyou#latest)
Is there more recent advice on this stage of a claim? Thanks0 -
Yes, we now point people to the one I said above, because the Govt recent published a new Code. Whilst not retrospective, it's 'best practice' to quote, and they banned debt recovery fake fees.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
