I will stick to EDF until things are more clear.Do you have any idea when EDF's tariff is applied from - When Zog went bust (i.e 4th Dec) or whatever day my switch to EDF is completed? PS I have already submitted Novembers meter reading Zog around 26th NovemberEDF commenced supply on 4th December. Why 26th Nov ? Zog required meter reads for billing on the last day of the month. It would be a good idea to submit another read for 3rd Dec, the site is still running.

EDF do offer Whole Amount DD which is what you have used either Monthly or Quarterly DD0

Both Symbio & E.On have used the reading I gave - but I did give it to both and E.On asked for a read within a day or so of being appointed.

Still can't do anything about EDF as there is no account number.I hope that it is taken into account when the bill me...

As mentioned on the Zog has gone thread, if you are a new customer to EDF you should be able to create a new online account using the email address that Zog has for you and see that there is a gas supply switch in progress.0

I fear you may end up with two accounts that have to be unravelled.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

I fear you may end up with two accounts that have to be unravelled. No, EDF have the Zog info including the email address (but not the DD info) so there's only one account. The billing defaults to Cash/Cheque which is significantly more expensive, but it was eventually confirmed during a long webchat that the overcharging will be refunded after the welcome letter has been sent and the DD has been set up.EDF offer Variable Direct Debit which should make billing far easier to understand and avoid the problems of credit building up.1
