I realise I neglected to sign up for this year but have exceeded my annual target by overpaying £2180 (target £1920). If there’s a chance of adding me in please do.

I missed last years target by £30. An administrative error that took at least a year to get over

  • Hello! I just came across this thread and am keen to sign up to be on the spreadsheet for 2023, will it be running? My target for 2023 is £10,000 OP. Many thanks! Reading through the comments from 2022 is so inspiring!
  • Final overpayments #16.  November £7.60 and December £418.89.

Have made it to under 50k for 2022 which was my target, hopefully sub 40k for 2023.

A dentist bill of over 5k has put my plans back a bit.

    Many thanks for 2022 julicorn.

    Good luck for 2023 everyone.

  • Hi, #13 reporting in after months of away time.

It's been a really hard year both financially and family-wise so i wasn't on the boards at all. Determined that next year will be better so to catch up here are my OPs - just the standard monthly automatic OPs:

July - Dec incl - £67.32 per month. Total for that period £403.92. Total for the year £1,683.81.

Better than nothing. I will be expecting more next year so am about to sign up to the 2023 Challenge!

    Thanks @Julicorn!

#69 My current mortgage deal expires tomorrow on the 31st.  So today I have managed an overpayment of £308.53 to leave an outstanding balance of £32,500 for the remortgage.  To say I’m pleased is a bit of an understatement!  I have held this mortgage for 7 years and in that time I have reduced the original balance by £47,450 🥳.  So the SVR is considerably more than predicted but my monthly payment should still reduce by around £20.  I haven’t done my yearly overpayment budget yet but I’m starting 2023 full of optimism.
