Recommendations for online fabric
I'm starting to get into sewing and wondering if anyone had recommendations for good places to get fabric for sewing clothes?

Sounds a little strange but I've picked up some great deals from ebay.
Also look for fabric companies selling cheap off cuts. It's great for practice.

If you're making your own, I'd go for quality rather than cheapness (not judging, I've bought my share of cheapo fabric!) - try Clothspot https://clothspot.co.uk/
They often have remnant sales as well.
Can also second myfabrics.co.uk - though they can be a bit slow in sending stuff out, especially round Xmas (as I found to my cost last year!)2024 Fashion on the Ration - 10/66 coupons used

Pound fabrics and pound a metre have some decent reductions, especially for practice garments. I've gotten some decent wool mix, needlecord and cotton linen from here before.

For deadstock fabric I've used:

Worth putting a 'wanted' post on your local branch of Freecycle. There are usually plenty of crafters/dressmakers who start each new year with a resolution to get shot of....!Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1

Croft Mill have excellent fabrics and sometimes do parcels of remnants.

cheapfabrics does what it says on the tin and sells cheap fabrics
but they're usually good quality too
