    Morning all,

I got my first NSD y’day and I shouldn’t need to spend anything today - so fingers crossed. I’m going to cinema and dinner out tomorrow so that will be a spend. I did list my bracelet on eBay and have had 1 query and 3 watchers but that doesn’t mean it will sell but fingers crossed.

work is so busy at the minute but hopefully next week it should quieten down. I volunteer and for the past 6 months it has been a pain and hopefully after this weekend when we have our AGM I will be able to step down from the main role and go back to more assisting than leading. I’m happier and don’t get as anxious out of the main role.

    have a lovely day.
  • do yo you volunteer as well as your main job, or is it full time volunteering? I probably read it wrong, but I couldn’t decide 😬 Either way, everything seems to ramp up before Christmas trying to get money in before the long break. My place is manic and people are dropping like flies!
    Congratulations on your NSD ⭐️

Hi WW - I have a main job as a civil servant and I also volunteer with a community organisation which at times is harder than my main job- which really shouldn’t be the way.

yesterday was an NSD but today I have a cinema ticket to buy and dinner out but it will be well worth it. At least i’m not frittering which is my main goal but I’m heading into Belfast and they have a Xmas market on so purse strings pulled tight.

I have a 2 hour work meeting at 9am and I’m the minute taker … need to shake a tail and get made up so I’m less troll like on the camera  :)

    Hi all

Another NSD today .. out and about all day but no spends  :)

Went for a long incredibly slow run first thing this morning, then 3 hours at volunteer thing and finally an hour at my uncles tidying up his house.

I’ve pasta cooking and sitting here with a baileys.

last night was great - saw an old black and white film but it took over an hour for my dinner to come at the restaurant … I was sooo hungry. We popped into a bar for an hour (I was driving). Food was gorgeous, company was good and I was tucked up in bed by midnight. Spends were good -£40 which I thought was good for food, cinema and a soft drink.

    no more plans tonight

    Hi all
Y’day was a small spend on bread and the paper for Mum and then my sister came round and we put up the Xmas tree. So after that I had the house to clean as it was such a mess.  I also used up ripe bananas and made banana bread and gave some to my sister.

Today was an NSD and I finished work a bit early. Busy work week ahead but hopefully Christmas countdown will start soon. I returned a top that arrived today - bought before my frittering lightbulb kicked in, so all pleased with myself but shouldn’t have bought in the first place - baby steps 😊

Just catching up with your diary. Hope the market was good, we haven’t been for the last couple of years (mainly because I don’t work in Belfast anymore) but always enjoyed it along with St George’s Market at Christmas

    Morning

CL21 - I used to work beside the market pre covid and if I hadn’t been up at the cinema I wouldn’t have come up especially but I enjoyed it and there was lots of food 😊. I miss St George’s now I’m not in belfast but can’t complain because it’s a much shorter journey from bedroom to spare room.

money front - so my bracelet is on eBay and the bidding shuts today and there is over £100 bid on it!!!! I’m not counting my chickens until the money is in the bank and the buyer is happy.

Y’day was another NSD .. really glad to be back on the forums because accountability is working … I have some small spends needed (tomatoes, firefighters) but I’m trying to delay until the weekend so that it’s only 1 NSD.

    have fun today

Ha ha, yes the journey down the hall is certainly shorter than my previous commute!

    Good luck with the bracelet!

    Morning

last working day of the week for me  :)

money update - so bracelet sold and after eBay fees I should get….. £109!!!  I took it to post office y’day and it was nearly £5 to post so a profit of £100. I can’t believe I’ve had it sitting in a drawer for years and never thought to sell it. Waiting for eBayer to let me know they are content but will work on theory no news is good news. Hopefully they will receive it today. I did spend y’day but not much - papers for my mum, some fruit and biscuits. I was trying not to spend to the weekend but once I went the post office that changed my mind.

Lots of work stuff today and then tomorrow I have an appt at the beauticians and a night out planned - I think that is my only big night before Xmas. I’m meeting a friend for breakfast on Saturday and it’s my turn to buy - quite a spendy weekend but it will be fun 😊
