Did you just report your concerns by email? There is something about the monies taken by PPC World that I want to get HMRC to look at.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No - you can do it all online - you have to identify yourself - but under the assurance it is confidential.

Happy to ID myself. The only PPC to escape this report will be ParkingEye so you can guess what I am reporting as possible VAT avoidance. I will pick a couple of PPCs as examples.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Good on you!
Minor point - Tax avoidance is a legal strategy - even though many feel it may be unethical. On the other hand, tax evasion of any form is illegal and those who don't pay it deserve everything coming to them - Rishi needs every penny he can lay his hands on at the moment - what better place to start than with the ill-gotten gains of many (not all) PPC's.2 -
Yes of course, I got the wrong term but haven't done the report yet.
Doing this first as it closes in a few days:

Really important, that's a chance to align a bespoke PAP with the new Code of Practice.

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere (but I couldn’t find it).

Paragraph 62 of the SDT judgment:
The Firm received on average 3500 payments per month from motorists equating to £600,000 per month and the unidentified payments allocated to the suspense ledger was £10,000 per month.
The judgment says that Gladstones had almost 330,000 debt referrals from 64 parking operators between March 2017 and June 2020. At £60 each, that’s about £20 million.3 -

The judgment says that Gladstones had almost 330,000 debt referrals from 64 parking operators between March 2017 and June 2020. At £60 each, that’s quite a substantial amount.
This is useful data that they may not have, about Gladstones.
It also begs the question, where did the VAT on the £60 DRA fee add-ons go? If the monies all sat on a holding account and then they refunded some and couldn't match the rest (which they gave to charity) where's the mention of VAT being paid on it all?
VAT applies to debt recovery and admin fees. Why is it not mentioned in the judgment facts? How could monies received just sit in a holding account? HMRC should be shown this judgment and asked to take a look.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
