GLADSTONES - Case Management Hearing - OUTCOME - UPDATED

So now this has reached a conclusion, does that mean that people can claim their money back now?...{Signature removed by Forum Team - if you are not sure why we have removed your signature, it's probably Gladstones}2

Probably worth waiting to see the case details posted on the SDT website first - hopefully giving a bit more detail.
Once the details are known and presumably then showing that Gladstones accounting was in such a mess that it couldn't prove one way or the other who paid what - it could be an opportunity for a reversal of roles with those who paid Gladstones issuing a claim for their money back - even issuing a MCOL (fee will be £35) - could tie Gladstone up in knots for some time (not that I would advocate making a claim if you didn't pay Gladstones, but if you have proof of a payment - at least ask for the receipt and acknowledgement that the related PCN has been cancelled)
It's not unreasonable to get written evidence of closure, especially as we know that some PPC's are visiting claims from many years ago.

This will not be the last we hear about Gladstones
We are still waiting for a full investigation over the Davies/Hurley/IPC/IAS scam that was set up to extort money from motorists3 -
Tell me more!
Threads may have been removed in the past but I still have all my own research notes (mainly from Companies House analysis) ready to share. Hopefully HMRC will enjoy reading them also2 -
You must have read the Parking Prankster's report on this.
The whole scam was exposed and then there were changes by the two amigos to seperate themselves.
There is a wealth of very dirty history on these two and really the police / fraud unit should investigate them2 -
Oh yes I've read that & some!
I also started a thread on this forum months ago - had circa 7k views before the mods pulled it for reasons best known to themselves. Here's the outline of their history - be interesting to see how long this thread stays live after posting this analysis!!GLADSTONES SOLCITORS and UNITI (T/A the IAS) – Who owns what?

Year to 31/10/2020 United Trade and Industry Limited pays dividends of £250,000 to Will Hurley Limited
Comments & Observations:
From incorporation (11/10/2012) until todays’ date, Will Hurley has had an ownership interest in the IAS – today, through his ownership of Will Hurley Limited, he owns 100% of the IAS/IPC and other related trade names.
From 18/02/2013 until 10/03/2020 Will Hurley has held a 49% ownership interest in Gladstones Solicitors Limited.
From incorporation in 18/02/2011 until todays’ date John Davies has had an ownership interest in Gladstones Solicitors Limited – today he owns 100% through his 100% shareholding in Gladstones Holdings Limited.
From 11/02/2012 until 30/01/2018 John Davies owned 50% of the IAS/IPC and other related trade names.
Therefore for clarity, until 10th March 2020, Gladstones Solicitors were actively prosecuting Parking Charge Notices while at the same time, their owners also had a direct and 100% ownership interest in The Independent Appeals Service, who state ‘It was created to provide a truly independent review on the lawfulness of parking charges that are imposed by private companies.’
The share disposal events that took place on 30/01/2018 (United Trade & Industry - £1,705,000) and on 10/03/2020 (Gladstones Solicitors Limited – undisclosed) in normal circumstances would constitute a taxable event for Capital Gains Tax purposes.
Gladstones Holdings Accounts filed at Companies for the year ended 30/06/2020 fail to disclose its’ investment in Gladstones Solicitors Limited – clearly wrong as Gladstones Solicitors Limited had Net Assets of £1,978,945 only 10 days before the date of the acquisition.

Highly possible this thread will be removed.
On this forum, you are talking to a very limited number of people.
Your findings should be sent to the police and HMRC
There is clearly a huge can worms to be investigated by the authorities3 -
It reads as if this is it, a slap on the wrist for peanuts.
And then there was this article too:

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well the first one is their IT company aimed at providing software for the industry, or at least for their own business needs. The second one is similar I think. Not sure they have had any success as businesses other than supporting the main operation.{Signature removed by Forum Team - if you are not sure why we have removed your signature, it's probably Gladstones}1

Good article and useful information - only until 2016 however - doesn't cover the attempted 'unwinding' of the relationship between Hurley & Davies.
Patron Hallow:
https://www.patronhallow.com/
Set up and owned by Hurley & Davies in 2013
Only started trading in 2016/17 and nothing material in their Balance Sheet. in 2018 when they were 'busted' by parking prankster they transferred ownership to Broadly Vertical in January 2018 - although remaining as Directors - Hurley eventually resigned in July 2019.
Broadly Vertical
Set up Hurley & Davies in 2016 owned 50/50 at the time by United Trade & Industry (ie. IAS IPC et al) and a company called Ecom6 Ltd.- dormant company until in May 2017 when all shares were transferred to Davies.
In January 2018, as part of the transfer of Patrol Hallow for what appears to be £500k, Davies takes his 50% in share capital in Broadly Vertical and (presumably) the other 50% (owing to Hurley) is shown as owing by Broadly Vertical - still shown as owing to this day (or the last filed accounts).
HMRC
Depending on if they got HMRC clearance, these share transfers could be taxable events (along with all the other 'unwinding' share transactions (Gladstones/Uniti etc) - hopefully HMRC will take a long hard look at it when they look into the Whistleblower information they've been given
