Great list. It's such a good thing to re-frame life into the positive. There's lots of doom and gloom about rising costs which is scary but at least the great people on these boards are resilient and resourceful and share ideas to help us all do the best we can with what we've got.7

I think the great thing about being on here, even if it is a bit scary at times, is that it teaches you to KNOW what your liabilities are. If you know nothing can jump out of the woodwork at you, you can hopefully deal before you get in over your head. You know what they say knowledge is power. So true!

Thanks all. Appreciate your posts.
I got a £25 voucher from work. I've been asked to write a bit more to support my upgrade. Sounds like it will go through and could be backdated to Jan. The right people seem to support it this time. Here's hoping anyway.
Between refunds, £co, bank switching, gifts, FB sales etc it looks like I brought in an extra £386 in the last pay month. However planning to put £400 towards electricity bill. Really pleased with that as otherwise l would be panicking more about energy.
My CC debt went down a little while my EF went back above £2k so really good month. No idea what I will do for an encore. CC debt due to rise slightly in the next pay period due to cam belt etc but should stay debt neutral.
Will continue looking for opportunities to bring in new £, get refunds etc. Next two months I have CT free months so that will help.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
