Thanks all. Been good so far but tiring. Still have the journey home to do.
Friday saw parents. Lovely steak and chips meal followed by chat and board games.
Saturday drove to London. Went to Italian restaurant with sis. Had fantastic chicken and mushroom pasta. The sort where you continue to crave taste after you've left. We saw a show last night. Really good musical linked to 911. Did over 7000 steps
Today I nipped to l1d1 and got ingredients for garlic roast chicken. Plus strawberries and cherries. Also made veg soup. DS joined us. Lovely to see him. We went for a walk after and then had lemon tart and raspberries for dessert. Done around 6000 steps.
Will have soup then go home.
Money wise spent a lot but offset by gift from my parents so all good.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

LadyWithAPlan said:Decluttering was January's theme. February's theme could be variations of how do I stop people pleasing? How do I put myself higher up my own list? (Still difficult even though now divorced). How do I create more joy in my life without feeding my Am**** addiction? How do I maintain a budget without being consumed by it...? You know the little things
I have been reading and catching up and loved all your declutter chat, this months goals are great ad really important.
I am aiming for a 2022 of releasing 2022 things from my life (that may include behaviours) so I am just keeping a count on one of my white boards - so fun and not a trial.
The electric blanket is nice and clean and white again. I'm going to test it before I return it in case it switched off one side due to over-heating. Something I only thought of after I ordered my new one (which I must prefer as it is so soft rather than being an under-blanket).
I spent £150 while away - but that included tickets for me and sis, food for us both plus DS and a gift for DS. My parents gave me £85 and I'd previously budgeted £85+ so it all worked out - and I have £20 cash I brought home with me. I paid much of what I spent on a CC but have already sent the £ to the target CC to compensate.
I have today off. I had a really good journey home - only a couple of miles of queuing traffic yesterday. I stopped off for one of those chocolatey glazed donuts by KC and a coffee from SB. DD had kept the house tidy and the cat was fine so all good. I listened to a fiction book all the way home - and still have more left to go. Just resting today. Making a deliberate decision NOT to do my to do list... for now at least.
