Thanks Dancing and @Mickyh-s. It is an amazing feeling.
DD has the day off tomorrow. I've agreed to pay her to paint the wall for the roman blind so that will take some pressure off. So hopefully things are coming together house wise too.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've come away from TRE this last week as have still been feeling rough post covid. Today I feel like I haven't stopped eating so definitely need to reset my body again. May wait until after the graduation though.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Cream cake and grapes anyone? Slightly off plan... But back on it... Wednesday
Filled up with fuel - 28 litres for £55. Painful.
DD only started painting after 9pm and has covered my bed so not sure if I'll be able to sleep in my room tonight.
My watch tells me I've burned loads of calories just trying to cool myself down!! Hope you are all doing well.
Looking forward to seeing DS tomorrow.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Passes cake and grapes to El
Well I made it through graduation & the follow on meal with DS, DD and Ex. Now safely home again. DS has gone for a walk so all 3 of us are now getting a bit of alone time. May do fire pit and marshmallows later... with colourful flames - with the help of some sachets.
The wall needs another coat - and she did 3/4 of one wall... i.e. didn't move my chest of drawers... I did sleep in the room but had to move a lot of stuff to the future art room just to clear my bed. I have tomorrow off - so may try and do some after DS leaves. I have a dental appointment but that's all tomorrow. I'll text the tradesman tomorrow and check when he's planning to come as I gave him 3 options Wed-Fri. So far he hasn't settled on one. Roll eyes.
DS is really struggling financially down in the big smoke - with high rent, utility bills, past debt and COL challenges. He has to find a new place to rent from late August - and they're all for more than he pays now. He is trying to find ways to earn more £ but it's all challenging. Really feel for him. Hope something turns around for him soon.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Not sure how old he is but look into Property Guardian it’s a very cheap way to live on some quirky properties. I would recommend Global we were with them for 3 years renting in Clapham.Save £12k in 25 No 49
