I nipped to H&B and spent some of my birthday and art supply £. Bought some more canvases and paints. I also bought myself a fake fur rug for underneath my desk. It's gorgeously soft. Bought £21 of plants. I've now emptied and replanted a hanging basket and a long pot. I've topped up the soil in 4 other pots at the front and put in some bedding plants. I've also had a go at taking some red geraniums and sedum autumn glory stems and transplanted them into some pots in the hope I can grow them on. Some of my pots already had lavender in - so I've added begonias, bizzie lizzies and trailing petunias to that. I plan to sort out my pots in the back garden later in the week. Thanks to past self I didn't have to buy new compost as I already have quite a few bags. I worked up a sweat doing it - and it involved a lot of bending and Hindu type squats so it probably did me more good than a walk would have. It will make the front garden look more cared for and welcoming.
I need to mow the lawn again - apparently 2 weekly at this time of year is not enough judging by the length. I have 2 strimmers but unfortunately I let Ex take the hedge trimmers as I wasn't sure I trusted myself with them (due to clumsiness). That means I potentially have a lot of hand pruning to do down the side of the drive!! If I can get on top of my own garden I may help next door with hers as she has let it get completely overgrown.
I've just ordered my repeat prescriptions. I still need to finish the note for the GP and email it re referral reasons but it is quite depressing - so don't have the energy for that right now. I have made notes from what sis said I should add in - just not typed it yet. No news yet on P1P but also no PE bill - so all good so far there. I have the £ ringfenced in case the bill arrives. BG came and read my meter the other day but no new bill has been forthcoming from that or the reading I submitted previously. They are irritating. If you ring them with a reading they produce an immediate bill! I don't get it. I don't have the energy to shift away from them either currently - knowing my luck whoever I shifted to next would go bust and I'd end up back in limbo land.
I also filled up with fuel again £75 for about 41 litres. Not happy but hopefully that will get me through to payday. I have two x 100 mile trips and I'm going to a few work related sites but other than that should be pretty local. What a busy few pages!!
Happy belated Birthday! I love HP world, such a fantastic day out. Only ever been to Kew for the Christmas light trail, must organise a revisit.
Wonderful news on the backdated payrise
Your 'reclaiming your body' post was very inspiring, I think it's very easy to take our bodies and health for granted. Good luck with SW, I've never used them, but I did WW after each of my pregnancies and I think those companies are invaluable for teaching about easy swaps and omissions that make a big difference. Even now, I use 1 kcal spray, bulk up meals with veg and am mindful of creamy sauces in restaurants etcDFD March 2025 (£35000 paid off)

For some reason my eyelids have flared up all week and are sore which doesn't help. Hayfever meds aren't shifting it. I've got some vas****e coming later which I hope will help. I'm getting a professional photo taken with work tomorrow and want to be able to wear makeup! I'm also getting treated to a free meal which should be nice but isn't on plan!! Will likely use all my sins and more in one sitting as I booked what I was going to eat before joining SW.

You found a phone number for BG? Really? Would you min sharing it please? I cannot see it on the website, but then again, I don't find a lot of sites intuitive!
I feel your pain regarding fuel. I filled my tank yesterday - £97!!! It was running on fumes, but still... I am doing a long round trip this weekend, so it will be gone and will need refilling for work. I remember how we were all up in arms when fuel prices touched the £1 per litre mark. Happy days.
Congrats on the free money! Always welcomed. Hope your eyes settle down. What I do not give, you must never take by force.

You won't find the number on the website because it isn't there, they wouldn't want people to contact them would they? It is on the bills though. 0333 202 9802. Good luck!
