Did you keep a copy of the P1P form and notes? Lift the info from that and perhaps scan through your diary for more.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4

WelshmansDaughter said:I've really enjoyed reading your diary through the end, I'm quite sad now that I can't binge on it anymore!
I too have been kerb bumping lately 🤷
It seems like your art/creativity is what gives you the energy to do all the other stuff, may be worth prioritising for that reason alone. It won't take long!!
I agree with your last statement.
Thanks too MF. I've drafted something and sent it my sis for comment but no reply yet. I will chase tomorrow and if I get no response just send. The doc only wants something short. If I get through this stage I think I get sent a more detailed questionnaire.
Well I joined SW tonight for free as planned so from tomorrow need to be on the straight and narrow.

So here's a question for you:
Where in your life are you neglecting yourself?
When I asked myself this question a few months ago I was really shocked at the answer which seemed to be - habitually, almost everywhere.
It's one of the reasons I'm trying to create new habits like the balance classes and now SW and putting more money in my budget for fun like art - and for experiences like my recent trips away. Something simpler and closer to home - I've just replaced 3 bras. I used a 15% off code for 2 of them today. I can't remember when I last did that - even though my current ones hurt, barely fit and gave me backache!! Earlier in the year I invested in 2 pairs of new trainers and I'm still loving them - particularly the more expensive ones. In fact if anything I wish I'd bought a second pair of snazzy ones in a different pattern rather than a plainer pair that I was willing to get dirty...
Where do you need to create new habits?

Good luck with SW.
That's a really good question about neglecting ourselves. For me I'd say in most areas from the beauty pampering side to a lot of what I enjoy eg art and photography and even down to being in the wrong job. Once the latter is sorted out, I can begin to focus on everything else as I'll be happier overall.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
I wish you luck in that part of your journey too MF. I think we all feel better when we nurture ourselves - including our hobbies.
The SW Consultant asked me last night what I hoped to gain by joining SW and out popped 'Reclaim my body.' They also talk about re-writing your out-dated life script.
Prompted by books I've read - one which described extra weight as like a jacket we put on to hide our true selves - I feel like I've buried myself under layers (of fat) as part of hiding who I am. Another suggested my weight was protecting me from perceived threats/old stories - by making myself literally bigger. I had both visibility and invisibility simultaneously. Because of my weight you would notice me in most rooms. Because of my weight I stopped attracting the wrong kind of male attention. I am deeply sad even writing that - however recognising my past life scripts is part of owning my story and rewriting it.
My new manifesto
I am reclaiming my body and will learn to love it along the way. I will look on it with love in the state it's in now and the state it will be. I will moisturise and care for my skin. I will protect it from the sun. I thank it for supporting me in the years I disrespected it and filled it with excess food and drink. I thank it for helping me recover and heal. I thank it for my growing flexibility. I thank it for the many times it has risen to seemingly impossible challenges and allowed me to participate in events and activities that could easily have been seen as impossible. I thank it for working with me now to regenerate, allowing excess to disappear and reveal the strong me inside that's always been there waiting.
I am doing it for me first. To prolong the quality of my life and open up some doors that are currently closed to me. I'm doing it as part of becoming me again. I have felt like Alice taking other people's directions on whether to shrink or grow - before finally take up my true space in the world. I don't need excess weight to make me visible or invisible anymore - I can defend and protect myself in other ways - if that's even needed. I am fortunate to have good bone structure and lovely skin so I look forward to the slow reveal.
I am a lot fitter and stronger than I look. I can do 10,000 steps. I can swim 1.2km and aim for more. I can do body balance if I practice the movements consistently and incrementally increase my personal range of motion. I can thank the part of me that protected me and say your job's done. Stand aside now. I can stride forward and be me. I look forward to increasing energy levels and breathing more easily. I anticipate increased range of motion and stamina. I look forward to turning back my body clock and giving myself more quality time.
That's my commitment to me - for all the days I waver, for all the times it feels an insurmountable challenge, this time I will persist and see it through. This time I will get to target and maintain. This time is for me.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've already had to read it several times just to stay on plan. It will get easier! I've had lovely food today though - I've always eaten well when doing SW:- Porridge
- Home made veggie pasta from the freezer - with salad and tomatoes
- Mackerel from the freezer (last July - thank you past self!) and jacket spud and salad leaves, celery, spring onions and tomatoes
- Pineapple finger, strawberries, clementines, banana
- A few treats
