Hello! New to your diary and have binge read the lot in the last couple of weeks. I just wanted to say, you are very impressive person! I feel inspired reading it all, well done on all your achievements in such a short space of time and to add to what’s been said many time before… you can sell your art, do it! 😁Credit card 1 £2,752

Thank you DIA, Jwil MF Beanie and @powerspowers
I am £20 up for the bike and spent it on food yesterday. I got 4 lots of 10p prepared veg too so made some soup and veggie pasta.
@doingitanyway good luck with Ol'. TGTG app also good for treat food.
@powerspowers I am still determined to get mortgage free / neutral too.
I have hung my washing out. First time this year. Progress. Not had the heating on for a few days now so hopefully bill will reduce dramatically. I am planning to read both meters before I go away to help with accurate bills. Still waiting for DD to read the water.FIRE_starter said:Hello! I hung a second load of washing out and felt virtuous. I need to buy more pegs though as I ran out. I have two retractable lines but they are very close together so I want to move them or in practice add a third hook. I found a fold out airer inside so plan to bring that back into use. I will also go back to drying many of my clothes on hangers. They shrink less that way too and keep their shape better. I may buy some over the radiator airers for stuff I don't want to hang out! I need to remember all the DFW/MFW small things type stuff to help reduce energy costs moving forward. All the things I got too proud / lazy to keep up when we had more £ coming in.
I've been doing exam prep (part of) the last few days and struggling! It's a multiple choice answer type exam - and my brain just struggles with that approach. I am better at explaining things using words and diagrams and practical examples rather than trying to read their deliberately twisted versions and trying to spot which is right. The textbook examples also bear little relation to reality which doesn't help - you have to ditch real world examples as it's only their answer that counts. Please don't play guess the exam on my diary as it could lead to further exposure!!
Earlier in the day I was failing on the mock paper - but towards the end my accuracy rate was improving. I have about 12 questions left to do on that one. I have a second mock paper to do assuming I can find it. I also need to find and test my web cam tomorrow AM in prep for the following day. Problem is I used DD's laptop during the course - and a lot of the materials I need are on there and I don't know her password and haven't touched it since. I need to ask her - but there's a risk she will have forgotten too! I did the course a month or so before my divorce was finalised - over 6 months ago now. I should have delayed the course really as I knew I wasn't in the right headspace for the exam. The idea is that you do the course and sit the exam immediately!!! Oops!! One of those examples where I should have practiced better self care. It was my first intense virtual course - and I hated it. I hated the trainer - and it didn't help I couldn't get my microphone to work on DD's laptop so had to send text answers or questions. My work laptop couldn't handle the course at all which was typical! My exam is Friday am. I will feel better once it's done. Assuming I pass!
Had porridge, veggie pasta and chilli and jacket spud today. Too much junk food alongside it though as I was super bored! Off to balance class soon to help burn some of it off and maintain my flexibility. Pleased I got my washing done - as it was about 2 weeks worth and it needed doing anyway ahead of me going away. I may do one more wash on Friday so I have my fave clean towels to take with me plus any other 'must have' items I find between now and then.
