Really appreciate all the well wishers. I bought myself some Alice themed side plates and bowls as my treat from Mr A.
DD has a red letter day yesterday. She insured the car in her name and drove Ex around for an hour. It doesn't seem as damaged as it first sounded - but she needs to get some quotes. It certainly seems driveable. It had a slow puncture so Ex has returned today to fix it which is kind.
I've finished work early today. I might do some work at some point over the long weekend to catch up but didn't have it in me today. It is having that kind of flexibility that keeps me in my current role...
Seeing my counsellor later today. I may go and mow the front lawn.

Congratulations SH! I haven't ever doubt for 1 second that you will achieve everything you set out to do.You set out to be debt free and realised along the way that debt was not the only thing that was making you unhappy. Tackling that took courage, grit and determination, including coping with Family opposition, and you came through with Flying Colours. The only thing I wll say is tackle one thing at a time... remember we eat the Elephant one bite at a timeGreat that DD is getting the car sorted, hopefully without too much outlay, which will give her independence and hopefully give your free time back to you!Sending ((((hugs)))) and loads of good wishes. That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy10 -
The little perks are what make a good job even better.
