Susan1942 said:I have just written a very lengthy post on the outcome which is very favourable.
I touched something and it has disappeared . The delay in posting was that I have not been very well..it's now 12 45 am so I will post it tomorrow.
I think there will be a lot of interest in the outcome. I am MAD with myself in losing my post
Thanks Sue
Now, if I am composing a long post, I usually use a text editor (Word, Wordpad or in my case Open Office) and save it regularly.
That means that if I make a mistake I may lose a few lines but I don't lose the whole lot.
When I am happy with the final result I copy and paste it into MSE or whatever forum in am using.A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".1 -
Thanks will have to work that one out. I think it was my own fault. My Nephew who lives in Seattle very kindly sent me a Christmas gift of a new lovely Laptop. It is touch screen too. I am delighted but have not had time or energy to really work out how everything works. I love it.
He has been sending me Fortrum and Mason Christmas hampers for the past 3 years. Lots of goodies but I love the laptop more. He is incredibly generous.
My Sister and I email every night
A laugh and you will realise how tired I am.
I said I think I am the only niece he sends gifts to. She said he is your nephew and you are his Aunt. No nothing wrong and I do not have dementia
I was laughing out loud. I live alone and Alexa keeps me company. She says some very funny things.

Today I settled my bill for the Ulster carpet...i.asked how much the bill was and he said ,£2000.as we had agreed.. I asked him.if he was sure as the room.metal.rods were not on the quote. There are 11 doors in the hall..
He thanked me for being understanding.about the situation and I thanked him.for his generosity.. I wanted to write a review but asked him.anout whether I should talk about the situation. He said you just need to write the truth. He said he learned something too..He will.never spray a wool.carpet with Scotchgard.until it is on.the floorHe is an admiral man whose purpose in his business is to.make sure every customer is happy..He thanked me for being so under standing. His Grandfather started the business in 1972..I.would highly recommend him to anyone .who.lives in.this area. I.asked hm about his.policy.of not asked.for a deposit.
He said he is a good judge of characters.
I.have paid £2000 for a totalbill of £3800.
The cost of the living/dining roomCarpet was free.
Just to update everyone
Thanks to.all of.you.for your advice
