Wait and see how the Creda NSH is. I have an old school mix of box of bricks heaters (mostly Credas) and have no intention of replacing themRedFraggle said:Super helpful thread. Am buying a 22 year old purpose built first floor flat with the original Creda NSH in. They are Creda Sensair fan assisted and I really can't decide whether to replace with Quantums before I move in or wait and see what the Credas are like. I am home all day and don't want to run out of heat in the evening.1 -
Thanks. No manual available for the type I can find but I think I can work it out. Has settings of comfort combi and boost. The fan seems automated. There's no fan switchSwipe said:

You should be able to find the manual online if you search for the model number, if not post it on here and I'll try to find it.RedFraggle said:

Thanks. It's not that one. Doesn't have the switches. There's an extra A in the model number of the ones in the flat. That's what had me stumped.Officially in a clique of idiots0

What are you all's max core temperatures? I'm wondering if mine are too high since one my storage heaters overheated yesterday (I think), the display was flashing red and unresponsive, it was back to normal after turning it off for a couple of hours and then switching it back on. It wasn't covered or blocked by anything, but I have been using it pretty heavily during the past week because of the cold.
Max core temps for the past week:
Large unit - QM125RF: between 110 and 113 during the past week.
Smaller unit, don't know the model name: between 92-95.

Does anyone know if the fan impeller needs cleaning or there is a filter to clean. Surely with it pulling air from low level vents the fan is likely to clog up?If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0

Either the screen area has been covered, there may be an installation problem, the screen is defective or it is just a one off.
No idea which.
