Resolver, as I understand it, is a third party complaints administration service.  They take the flak on member firms' behalf and act as intermediary, in exchange for payment.  Resolver aren't themselves an ombudsman or an official body and do not have universal powers; they can only look into complaints made against entities with a contractual relationship with themselves.  Zap clothing, no doubt, are not Resolver members so Resolver are powerless.

I have tried and failed to find a email address for Balmain to complain to them direct.

I an not dealing with the supplier as I cannot get an answer to any of my messages to get details for there suppliers

=any advice  I have never had to deal with such a rude company

Resolver is a waste of space, it is an online filing cabinet.

Are you quite sure your sweatshirt is genuine Balmain and not fake? The differences are very subtle  https://legitcheck.app/guides/real-vs-fake-balmain-logo-tee/

Balmain doesn't really exist as an entity nowadays.
It is wholly owned by Mayhoola for Investments, an investment entity incorporated under the laws of the State of Qatar.

    Mayhoola for Investments,
    36th Floor,
    Tornado Tower,
    West Bay, P.O Box: 656,
    Doha – Qatar.
    Tel: +974 403 22222
    Email: info@mayhoola.com

Sadly, they may not be interested in you and your shrunken sweatshirt.
  • I hope its genuine I paid a lot for it
  • What timeframe did they give you to cancel your contract with them in the order emails or on paper with the goods?

    Is this Zap Clothing?

They are owned by Mayhoola but  Balmain S.A.S. etc are still legal entities and indeed they moved in one of their big hitters as its new director in 2017 after they turned around another big brand in their stable of acquisitions

Having worked for companies owned by investment firms/private equity etc it does create a very different dynamic to the organisation but most very much remain a company, just one with a shareholder that is much more actively involved. If they care is another matter.

If you look on their own website and their Privacy Policy you will find an email for them https://www.balmain.com/us/Help/LegalArea/PrivacyPolicy
