  • This is in effect a virtual online lottery gaming machine - so all of the regulations still apply
Such as 2005 Gaming act - which clearly states that a list of winners names should be available on request.
I will request a list of winners names and will let this forum know the stats.
No licence required for a game where all entries are free, so I doubt if that applies. Quite why you think this is a con is a mystery to me.
There is a old adage "you don't get something for nothing"......
So what something are Octopus getting from me when I spin that wheel once a month? No meter reading required they get that every 30 mins from my smart meter.

They have my custom because they offer a great tariff for an EV driver, if that changes then the WoF won’t make any difference to the decision I would face if I would be better off switching and I doubt it is responsible for retaining a single customer.

Still ain't gambling though m8. You're not at risk of losing anything. The only investment is your time, and you can simply choose not to. Even then you either "win" or you don't. You don't "lose" anything.

Never won.  Did the winter workout last year though and after freezing to death (figure of speech!) I was in the top 10% apparently of who had saved the most.  My share of the prize pot was a whopping £7.65 which went into my account. Probably paid for the next days wash!!
