Everything boots up lovely thank you so much.
Just one question, on the dual boot menu I have 2 links for Windows I clicked the dev/sda1. attached a ss

yeah I saw that last year
, or whenever you posted a similar one , I can only suggest that the boot-repair has made a faux pas but I can be wrong sometimes as you may have noticed
. However /dev/sda1 is the system reserved partition and sda2 is your Windows system(c:) drive. Let's see how the systems behave for now. Which one of those two Windows entries is the one you use for Windows that works, I would suggest it should be sda2 but .... we can investigate that too later. I just hope that for now all is well and then we will do a tidy up of that which hopefully shouldn't take too much time.
Anyway thanks for your ability to follow the instructions (even the bad ones) and we will revisit this again later, I appreciate your patience and your ability.... DCM.

Lovely! I can't thank you enough you made things very easy for me to follow and hopefully I will have learned something along the way
One thing I hope I have learnt is don't mess with stuff you don't understand
Thanks again0 -
