    Evening all

It's been a quiet weekend in the Chicker household. The weather has been awful but we managed a nice walk this morning, although it ended in torrential rain with DD inconsolable because her hands were cold.

    A few spends this weekend:
    - a £20 donation to a school friend who is trying to raise enough for lifesaving surgery. The story is horrific and has really made me re-evaluate a few things.
-£31.91 oilcloth tablecloth so DD can eat at the table. Our table has an annoying decorative groove running around the edge which gets full of food.
-£119 on a kitchen helper for DD. Expensive but will hopefully avoid her falling off any more chairs  :o and should sell on well afterwards.
    -£23 diesel

I've got a hospital appointment tomorrow and I'm so nervous I could cry (and probably will). I've got to drive 2.5 hours to a hospital in a town I've never visited. I don't think the appointment will be any help either so it seems so pointless but I have to try it. It's also the longest DD will be left with a family member. I hate all things medical sooo much  :s

Anyway, this time tomorrow it will hopefully all be over and I won't have to go back!

Thanks for your kind words. As predicted the appointment wasn’t anything to worry about. The drive was horrible with thick mist most of the way there and back but I was cheered up immensely when I heard about Michael Gove stuck in a lift  :D  :D  :D

Anyway, next appointment will be over the phone thank goodness!

    Money:
Our car is quite efficient on long drives but still used almost half a tank so approx £40!!!
£2.50 parking from change in my purse as I couldn’t work out how to get the machine to take a card.

I was a bit worried when I got to the hospital and had to use the lift to get to the 8th floor! I don’t believe in karma but I was still relieved to get out at the top! I took the stairs on the way down  :D
