Our online account has finally updated to show yesterdays direct debit payment and we’re in the £230ks. When the interest goes on mid-January it will probably tip back into £231k so I might try to make a small op to bring it back down again.

DH pointed out we’ve actually won two lots of £25 today so £50 in total! We also had £25 last month so £75 altogether which is equivalent to 0.378% interest so far!

    Well done on the win.

Thanks for caring. I have stayed negative so far and DD seems to be on the recovery phase. So anxiety reducing

Thanks @savingholmes ! I will try to have a catch up on your diary later this evening 🙂

It's been a spendy couple of days in the Chicker household:

Our Ama5on subscribe and save came to £43.59 of boring household items including bin bags and toothbrush heads. I had checked and switched all items to the cheapest option and basically put everything we were going to need in the next few months into the one order to benefit from the maximum 15% discount.

Yesterday I went to the dentist for the first time in 2 years and I was sooo nervous  :D Luckily all is good and we had a good chat about options for my dead front tooth. I plan to try another one that is closer to get another quote mainly because this one involved a 45 minute drive and £3.20 car parking! Private dentist so £75 and I really need to put us on the waiting list for an nhs dentist since ours closed before Christmas.

Also need to pay DH's tax bill!!

    In better news:

I contacted S@ntander about missing cashback on our 123 account and was told we'll get it next month due to the bank holidays at the beginning of the month.

Our food and petrol credit card direct debit came out at £12 less than I expected - no idea why but I will pop this in savings if it's still there at the end of the month.

£10.15 claimed from prolific and now safely in my extra income pot.

Low sugar is not going as planned as I sit here next to an open box on toblerone  :disappointed:

Righteo, need to go and wake up DD so we can play outside in the howling wind  :#

    Chicker 🙂

Hmmm I replied earlier but it’s gone?!

I still have a chocolate orange but have opened the Ferrero Rocher for now. I’ll be doing low sugar in February at this rate!

Glad it’s not just me! I don’t eat a lot of chocolate normally because I don’t buy it. If it’s in the house I can’t ignore it! 😳

Thanks for saying hello! DD is much better thank you for asking. Still spotty but they seem to be healing well 🙂

Glad DD is doing better. Jealous of the ferrero rocher!
