    Hi

I hope everyone is keeping well.

I can't believe we have hit November already!

I have set up ready for next Christmas, please let me know if you want to join again.

Here is the link for the new thread Saving for Christmas 2023 - £1 a day — MoneySavingExpert Forum

Have many of you made a start on Christmas shopping yet?

So far I have bought a tub of Q street chocolates.

I haven't quite managed to catch up, so I will need to be a bit careful this year.

I've updated totals where I can.

Catch you all again soon  :)

I have been so rubbish at keeping this post updated but I still did my savings and got to my target. I have done 75% of my Christmas shopping and ordered the turkey so most of the money has been used :)

  • Hey Everyone

Hope you are all keeping well.

Please update as you declare your spends for Christmas 2022.

Here is the link for next year https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6400655/saving-for-christmas-2023-1-a-day/p1

I've made a little bit of a start on shopping, Grandchild 3 is all done she is easy as only 1 on 19th December. Grandchildren 1 & 2 are a little more difficult as 5 & 7 and change what they like weekly, at least that's how it feels  :D

I'll be popping back and forth from the new page to add new members there and update declarations here.

  • Final total for 2022 challenge is £441.74

I put the £30/£31 in at the start of every month and sometimes stuffed a bit extra into the box when I had some, and it really added up without me realising it.

Xmas is a quiet one this year, so I don't need much of this money for that, I've used some to start next year's challenge and donated/will donate some, and then will think about the rest.

    Merry xmas everyone.
