🎄 Getting ready for Christmas 2023 - save £1 a day challenge 🎄
I know a few of us have enjoyed doing this challenge over the years so I thought I'd host it again this year, please let me know if someone else has already started, if not here we go
The Aim: To save a £1 a day from 1st December 2022 to 30th November 2023. How you save your £1 doesn't really matter, whether it be a £1 in a tin, an on-line account or anywhere else that suits you.
We will open our tins or have access to our accounts on 1st December 2023 and declare total amounts saved.
Then it's spend, spend, spend for Christmas 2023 on whatever you like.
You soon get into the habit of putting a £1 a day away and just think this time next year you will have a healthy chunk of money towards the expense of Christmas
If you would like to join in pop your name down and the amount you are aiming for, I will allocate a number for you.
Please note, I have copied some of last year's information for the beginning of this thread.

Can I join please? I started way too late for 2022, so am starting again for next year, however I intend to use the account for Birthdays & Christmas, so the amount will fluctuate through out the year as I dip into it for families birthdays ( GKs. DD & DS)....luckily they are well spread out through the year. So I will aim for £365 for the end of November.Making the debt go down and savings go up
