Good afternoon, I was wondering if there was anyway I could find out which brewery owns a certain pub?
it’s to complain and I’ve already done it to the manager and it has fallen on deaf ears !!!
cheers

obvious question - have you tried googling the pub? or do you want to name and shame here?

As above, Google is generally your friend in these matters.1

If its owned by a chain you'd expect a google to show it up on the brewery's own site as well as their own website etc.
Other than that, certain beer apps identify various details of pubs/bars listed in their apps. Presumably they would be registered as the owners with the Land Registry

Not all pubs are owned by a brewery.2

Thanks for your replies 👍🏻….. yeah tried that, tried google, might be a good option to try land registry
it’s actually because I want to tell the brewery that their manager is a very untrustworthy person. Basically she owns a building company with her husband, I paid them money in lockdown to do my extension, ……. I know I know, but it was for materials etc. They never did any work on my extension except left me with an open drain and spent all my money doing up the pub in lockdown !!! As you can imagine ….. frustrating is not the word !!!0 -
Nor does it mean they would be bothered about the OPs claim .

Do you have a receipt for the money you gave to their company?diggerDan696969 said:Thanks for your replies 👍🏻….. yeah tried that, tried google, might be a good option to try land registry

I am not sure that the brewery would be involved here, unless there is more detail that is not shared. Large companies such as breweries usually have framework agreements for any building works with national companies, not local independent contractors. It seems unlikely, therefore, that the brewery would have had the work done using your funds.diggerDan696969 said:Thanks for your replies 👍🏻….. yeah tried that, tried google, might be a good option to try land registry

Your case seems to be linked to the building company charging you for work which was not completed. Any link to where the building company actually spent your funds is unproven. Maybe this needs to be considered simply as a case against the building company and ignore any link that may exist with the pub / brewery (assuming the pub is not part of the building company).2
