Evening, I’ve been busy decluttering/cleaning our sitting room today, and found £6 which was holding up the now unwanted projector. So £6 now sitting in the savings pot. I also had £10 savings to put in my online savings pot from my weekly shop (special offers etc.). Most of my savings will be online as I very rarely use cash these days.

Evening! Rather than fashioning a pot out of something, I found my trusty old pot that I used when I did my last successful SPC!
I found £3.75 in small change in there from the last time I attempted it. There were two VERY shiny 1p coins from 2016, which I suspect may have been the year I tried to do SPC and then my husband and I just ended dipping in and it didn't work out. I am keeping it away from my husband before the "But I haven't got any change for the car park!" conversation causes a spiral effect and ruins it again. I'm not having any of that this time, I must be firm!
I've also potted the £9.30 I collected since I signed up to the challenge a few days ago. Very pleased with that!
So that's £13.05 potted todaySPC '21 #0756 -
Hello everyone. So good to see so many savers.I cadged a lift the other night when heading to the rugby instead of taking the train, so I’m potting (transferring into my SPC account) £17 of unspent fares. I call that a win! 😊Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared7

That is a great win @VickyA_2. This is a great example of where the sealed Pot Challenge is so good. That saving could easily have ‘disappeared’ but potting it means it ends up counting for something. We were given 5 pounds off our coffee by post order, so that saving was potted. Over the course of a year these savings here and there can really add up.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 56

Morning Potters, is it me or are the weeks flying by at the moment? Had a busy weekend, DH was trying to clear out the garage and shed, it's amazing how much stuff we collect isn't it? It always seems like a good idea to keep it at the time and then before you know it, you are overrun. I pretty much kept out of the way and let him get on with it. I finished knitting a little red and white Christmas jacket for the baby (very cute
) and we were lucky enough to be given a gorgeous cot that we assembled and which is now installed in the spare bedroom. Just need to buy a mattress and some covers for it now, oh and they need to come and stay!!! All in good time, I'm sure. I'm off to stay with them for a couple of days and so looking forward to Nanna cuddles.
Another £7.86 in the pot this week. Enjoy your week Potters, keep safe and warm xx

A very good Monday Potters/Saver folk! I hope you all had a really lovely weekend, and here's hoping you all have a good week and can save as well as possible!! Save in a way that's best for YOU! 😄If any of you are feeling poorly or perhaps low in spirits, please take care, and get well soon and come back with us. For now, here are love and hugs to help look after yourselves ❤️ 🫂Hi welshspendthrift, it's good to see you here, but do take a look back on SPC 14 where I've put a message to you.A good start. Don't forget the Declaration Day in 2022 27th October! See you soon!Very well done, Peony!! I'm glad you've taken notice of various ways you're able to save here on SPC and acted accordingly, keep it going as online is fine by me!I love the way you sound so determined this time round, dinglefoot, you'll be absolutely thrilled with that determination on the 27th for sure!! 😀If you need cash to use then keep some in a purse/pot each month so you've always got some if necessary. If you don't need it - pot it!! Excellent potting so far!!I call it a win for sure too, Vicky!! That's the way to save as much as possible! Keep it going!!That's the way to pot/save, Ant, good for you!! I completely agree with what you've said to Vicky, it makes perfect sense to pot whatever we manage to save in any which way! It's not just you, Siju, they're flying by for DH & I too, maybe it's Christmas looming, although DH is positive it's since Covid! Our very lovely neighbour is critically ill in intensive care at the moment as he has it even though he's been double jabbed! He's 68, and is little on the larger side mostly due to comfort eating as his younger daughter is very sadly dying from cancer. I do hope he pulls through as she'll be totally lost without her dad. Lately, he's been taking her to Cornwall as often as he can and to places she loves. After begging and pleading, the hospital did allow her to see him last week due to her condition. Very very sad indeed. The busier you are the faster it goes too, as your DH will have noticed clearing out the garage, why do we save things that never do come in handy!!I'm so pleased you had such a lovely cot given to you, very wise to have a cot for when she comes to visit - and VERY good her parents have a spare bed for when you go to visit too!! 😉 Have a wonderful time at the weekend and please give her a cuddle from me. 😊Ooh I do like the sound of what you're knitting for her, in true Christmas style! ,☃️Excellent potting and have a very good week abd weekend!!Have a very good Monday folks!Keep safe and do STAY HEALTHY and keep on potting!!Sue xxNB Folks: The opening date for this year is 27th October 2022

Evening all,
Popping in quickly before I forget details, potted £1.04 in cash that I found while tidying the sitting room. Also, online potted 65p which was for an online grocery refund received today.
Sue, very sad to hear about your neighbour and his daughter.
