Morning,

Been decluttering in the spare bedroom and found a now unused cash box, inside was £61.51 in coinage!  

Vicky, many thanks for your post it was very interesting and helpful.  I am in the process of changing banks, and my new bank has an excellent online site.  I have managed to set up five different saving accounts.  I like your idea of rounding off your account, all these pennies add up.

Been to the sweet shop for some presents for a friend and a couple of things for my daughter. Managed to not give into the temptation to get something for myself - I've already got sweets and biscuits in the cupboard. £1.45 in the pot

Thanks for the welcome very kind I've added my number to my signature and have started off by finding a pot which already sounds to have a good amount in - why is that just lying around the house?! We found 50p on the floor so my little boy has helpfully potted that.

Thanks for the welcome...We have loose change all over the house, I've put a kilner jar aside and tomorrow I'm collecting the change up and adding it to the pot. Will report back with the new total

Will I be allocated a number for this challenge?  
I've collected up all the change in the house and added to my pot which now stands at £85.27... now off to wash my hands thoroughly!!

wow, that is a really good amount found. 

Sue will be able to give you your number for the challenge, I think she mentioned the other day that she was having internet issues.

DH is taking the rest of our loose change to the bank today so it will be interesting to see how much there is.

You'll find your No on the 2nd Post of Page 1, and please through the 1st post as it'll let you know exactly how to save with the challenge. We always empty our pots and declare what's in them in October, please make a note of this year's date: 27th October 2020.

Please pop your SPC No on your signature as it's a great help. To do so please to your profile Photo, top right, click then go to Signature Settings, lower and on the left, be sure to SAVE before fleeing!

With regards to me and I'm now saving since Covid, I simply transfer a certain amount, usually £20 over to my SPC account since Covid. Time to rethink and make it more interesting maybe. 🤔

Well done for not giving into temptation, dinglefoot, now's the chance to put on the money you saved in your SPC pot!! 😊
