I am also having tooth problems Sue-UU as part of a back tooth has cracked off.  Luckily there is no pain (so far!) and I have booked an appointment for next week.  Hopefully it will just be a repair but I feel for you, tooth pain is horrible.  When I was 18 I had to have my 4 wisdom teeth removed in hospital before they had even started to grow through.  I looked like a chipmunk for about 2 weeks - I wasn't the cute, cuddly type of chipmunk either, more like a gremlin    Hope things improve soon for you.

I'm like you Hettyhound as I can't face the thought of being with crowds yet. DD and I have arranged a baby shopping trip at the end of November, once her maternity leave has started.  We are hoping it will be quieter than in December but if it's too busy, we shall just have some lunch and come home 

Another £6.78 in the pot today have a lovely week xx

 My dear Sue, you have my sympathy for having toothache again. I hope you will feel better very soon 😔  I've got back pain at the moment . Any bending at all pinches a nerve with an 'electric shock' feeling and its extremely debilitating.  Of course, I keep dropping things and can't pick them up 😳 G's spine is stiff too so we make a right pair.
No potting going on  because we can't go out shopping again.

I must have a gripe about fleabay, so please excuse  me in advance.......I have been  selling on there for well nigh 20 years with no problems and 100% positive feedback.  Out of the blue I've been asked to upload photo ID eg Passport, driving licence etc and my selling account has been suspended. They must be joking. How do I know where it will end up in the ether of the Internet? As you know,Sue, I have been selling craft makes for years so this has closed my only avenue for a bit of extra cash to pot.   Since the changes on fleabay it's been awful.  I HATE CHANGE 😒  Sorry to shout 🤭🤐

Oh no, not you too, Sijuj! Hubby's done the same with one of his as you! He too is hoping his will just be a repair job. The pain with mine has gone easier due to the antibiotics, though I detest having to take them! More harm than good in many ways!

I don't like to giggle Siju, but your description of how you looked after having your wisdom teeth out!! 🤣😂 Poor you though, oh that pain!! Mine was bad enough, but at least it was just the one. 

Very wise re the shopping, you can't be careful enough these days!

Oh poor you with Fleabag A ! How rotten of them, I'd be stumped as I've got no license at all! If you're on Facebook A then why not start selling via them, hundreds of folk do, including my granddaughter!

The results from DH's MRI are Arthritis, Stenosis, a narrowing of the spine, and a Ruptured Disc! Little wonder he's had a lot of pain. He's only to a minimum amount of work, then rest for a couple of days. There are exercises to do for the disc, also for the Stenosis and a matter of keeping the spine supple. No wonder my poor love was on such pain! They could do an op, but it could leave him worse off than as he is!! No thanks, he'll just need to learn when enough is enough! I'll be sure he does! 😒

Hello everyone, sorry to hear a number of you are currently dealing with various ailments. It does feel like tough times at the moment.
There is also lots of great potting going in wiki here is uplifting, and nice to see plenty of activity on this thread.
Got a fair few coins in my pot and happy to already not know how much I have saved. Haven’t had sight of any roadkill for a fair while. Had three or four really useful cash back rewards offers on my Halifax account, so will be using them and potting those amounts when they get paid in next month.

The other 2 significant others in my house have both had COVID but I didn’t get it, for which I’m grateful. Neither of them had it badly which is a relief, as it can of course be devastating.  They were both as careful as they could have been but it’s so difficult, especially as wife had to commute by train, albeit a short journey, and she said she wouldn’t be surprised if she caught it on that journey.
Anyway, I wish better times for all of those having difficulties.

I swear I haven’t been at the Sherry! There does seem to be some strange predictive text on here at times.

A whole 81p potted - a refund from some milk, so it was already "spent" therefore I've potted it before it can escape again.

Oh your poor DH Sue-UU he must be in agony but at least you have some answers now and can make choices.  I totally agree about an operation.  They are not always the right answer and I'm sure you will make the best choice for you both.

I could do with more than sherry today; waiting on PCR results 🤦‍♀️  After school sent Alex home at 4 because he had a headache and I was told can’t go back until had PCR.  Rushed off to get drive through last night, did lateral flows which were negative also.  My boy is not in the least bit ill, jumping around like something not right whilst I’m trying to work.  My planned day off tomorrow might end up getting cancelled and I’m not sure I can do 10 days of this, oh yes and there’s no food in the house because I do the shopping on a Friday 😱

Hi Ant, it's that time of year I'm afraid, take care of your family and your dear mum, and tell them not to mingle!! I can quite see yours and your wife's fears of her needing to travel to work, is it possible to wear 2 masks on the train in future? Anything to keep her safe!

No roadkill here either, folk must be guarding their cash, you can tell Christmas is close!⛄

Thank the dear Lord your wife and daughter didn't get Covid too badly! I'm afraid our neighbour is in intensive care with it, his DD who's so sadly dying of cancer told us last night that things are looking bad as they can't get his Covid under control,  also his kidneys have packed up and he's on dialysis, all they're in need of now are prayers and hope, so terribly sad.

I'm glad it wasn't just me giggling at Ant's error Siju. It didn't cross my mind too much until he put the 2nd post on, then I really giggled. Still, I've no doubt it did us good.

With regards to DH, he's got pain around his lower back all the time, a horrible dull aching. To be honest, I don't think there are too many choices for us to make, apart from does he do something or not, I give the answer then - NO! Seriously, I don't mind him doing a little, because he has to keep supple, just not doing too much and messing his back up for several weeks. It's difficult though as he's just not the type of chap who can sit still and relax for any time, he has to be doing something!

Hi Hetty, oh dear life isn't exactly going your way at present I take it. I really do hope you're ok re Covid. A shame your shopping plans have been cancelled, such a shame when you can't go out to get things you need!
