I managed to get the shopping in at the weekend well under budget, plus I was cleaning out an old bag and found a purse with some money in, goodness knows how long that's been there!

I found 2p roadkill on Friday!  Safely potted along with £10 but I’m not sure if I’ve already declared that.  Luckily Friday was as planned and I had lots of puppy cuddles with Dotty to cheer me up.  Went to a greyhound walk yesterday which was lovely but cold.  I finally ordered a small heater for the study; we are returning to the office in January but just one day a week so it will be definitely better to just heat this one small space rather than the whole house during the day.  My son has been invited to a party at a soft play centre 🤦‍♀️  He will not be going (have to tell the child’s parent yet).  We had a very grown up conversation and I said as a compromise we can have fish and chips for tea that night as our own special treat.  He was happy 😊

Great to see so much potting happening, well done everyone Hugs to anyone who needs them 

Had a quick visit to our nearest town early on Saturday to buy some small gifts for a few friends.  I am so astounded by the generosity of friends since the birth of our gorgeous granddaughter and felt I should buy a little something for each of them.  Potted the change of £2.78 plus my weekly £5.

I'm off to see said gorgeous girl for a few days.  Enjoy the rest of your week and stay safe.

Sue  will allocate your number and welcome you ‘officially’ fairly soon. Most of what you need to know is on the very first post but if you have any questions of course fire away. It’s fairly straightforward and we”re all potting in a way that works for each of us individually, as for many of us our access to physical cash is a lot more limited nowadays.

Anyway, welcome along and hopefully you will feel comfortable ‘delurking’ (if that’s even a word) and post regularly on here.  It’s a really friendly group of people who like to encourage each other

Good morning everyone

Payday yesterday, so about £50 potted. Sounds like a lot, but I have been more careful recently so this was left over.  Genuinely delighted.  I'm going to see how much I can cut back.

A fair few coins in the pot recently . DH owed me £20 so he gave me cash to put in the pot 😁

It's amazing how generous friends are when a new baby's born, eh Siju! Mind you, it can then put us in a bit of a dilemma, but it sounds as though you've got that sorted!  Have a wonderful time with your little treasure, but do please have a cuddle for me.

A little late I'm afraid, folks. I had kingfisher's welcome and an entire post done ready on Wednesday, but "then I had too many characters" so I copied it all (but forgot to save it and then turned off the laptop and obviously forgot all about it!!!!  I was horrified to see nothing here earlier!!!!
