A happy Thursday, Potters! Enjoy your day and get ready for the weekend and here's hoping we can all save well and keep healthy!! Save in a way that's best for YOU! 😄If any of you are feeling poorly or perhaps low in spirits, and take care, and get well soon, then come on back with us, for now here are love and hugs to help look after yourselves ❤️Very many thanks for the good wishes, Siju, it's amazing how swiftly time passes!Poor Barnaby, it's horrible for them, our elder Grandson had it to such an extent that it was quickly followed by projectile vomiting...which was made even worse if I was in the line of fire! 😶 His became so bad that he couldn't keep anything down and had to go to Bristol Children's hospital! He had to be put on a high calorie diet and they got it right after a few months.Let's hope little Barnaby's soon becomes very much better, bless him, and no doubt, as you say, he'll soon grow it.I bet looking after the dogs is almost as good as caring for Barnaby. 🙂Very good potting, and enjoy your week.Nicely worked out with your overdraft, MrsShazbat, we need to be careful with every penny with prices going up so much!! 😱 You certainly use Plum well too!Well done with sorting out your money, 32B3, your potting too!An excellent bargain, Hummingbird!!! It sounds like a wonderful coat - at a super price!!Reflux is horrible for kiddies to have to suffer with, Ant!Poor Hetty, C, I do hope she gets well and very soon! Our Jessie has a similar lump, but the Vet says it's cancer, with what you describe with Hetty bit makes me wonder re Jess, but we certainly won't be going back just yet as she wanted £700 to be sure. Trouble is, I really don't trust our Vet!!Very many thanks for the good wishes, Siju, it's amazing how swiftly time passes!Poor Barnaby, it's horrible for them, our elder Grandson had it to such an extent that it was quickly followed by projectile vomiting...which was made even worse if I was in the line of fire! 😶 His became so bad that he couldn't keep anything down and had to go to Bristol Children's hospital! £10 for the pot. Hetty still seems ok but it’s definitely not getting any smaller at the moment ☹️ Managed to negotiate more flexible working to do the school runs 3 days a week which means I’m able to cancel some childcare to save some money. My DD had the same problem with reflux and like Antomac's DD she was also given Gaviscon to help but not until she was 6 months old, but it did work like a charm. Also like your DGS Sue-UU, my DD had projectile vomiting. It was really scary the first time it happened, I thought my baby had exploded! They are now giving Barnaby colic drops before each feed and keeping him upright for 30 mins after each feed. It does seem to be working, so hopefully things will improve now.
Sorry to hear about your cat Hettyhound, but I agree with you it's best to watch and wait, especially if it isn't bothering her at all.
I'm back home for the weekend, but off again on Sunday to look after Alba, my DGD, then back to DD's to help with Barnaby and her menagerie. I'm hoping this is my last week away for a little while, as much as I love being with them, there's no place quite like your own home and I've been away so much in the last month, it will be nice to enjoy my own bed for once.
Another £6.23 in the pot this week. Sending hugs to all who need them and wishing you all a lovely weekend.SPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.834 -
I've been doing bit of long overdue sorting out and have come across a carrier bag about half full of loose change! No idea what it was from but I now need a bigger pot lol😅 What a nice surprise! It's not a huge amount value wise as it's mainly coppers with a few silvers mixed in but as Mr T would say every little helps!😊

Evening all, hope everyone is well and sending love to anyone who needs it.
Have had a very busy week at work, plenty of flexitime but also an ever-increasing to-do-but-not-getting-done list!
I have, however, had a productive week money-wise. I was a good girl and immediately transferred the remnants of our one-off payment into my savings account. I set up all my accounts in my newest current account so I can transfer money without too much faff. I switched my weekly payment in lieu of having my nails done, from Plum to a standing order to one of my other savings accounts. I have also made sure I transfer my eBay sales into the same account which is fortuitous as I've made over £100 in sales this week! Quite proud of myself.
Have a good weekend all xSPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)
