I'm on SMP and super skint, so have found my way back here. Looking forward to taking part again - when I did it 'properly' a few years ago before I had my children, I found it really addictive!

Morning, @dinglefoot yes you are right, it is truly addictive!  Potted some pennies and some less than half full bags of 10p and 5p left from the last challenge. Sue I’m going to attempt £400 this year!  As I didn’t think I would manage my target last challenge but did I’m upping it 😀

I’ve also set up a Christmas savings account so I will add that into my pot challenge as well as I can only access it 1 day a year so I’ll see what I have on opening day

A very warm welcome to you, TheAble  (074) and dinglefoot  (075) it's lovely to have you with us. Have great fun saving. You'll find your No on the 2nd Post of Page 1, and please through the 1st post as it'll let you know exactly how to save with the challenge. We always empty our pots and declare what's in them in October, please make a note of this year's date: 27th October 2020.

Please pop your SPC No on your signature as it's a great help. To do so please to to your profile Photo, top right, click then go to Signature Settings, lower and on the left, be sure to SAVE before fleeing!

Please note that since 2014 we save in the best way for us all as individuals; if you're able to carry on popping cash in a pot, that's fine, but if it's easier (in the current circumstances ) to do it via the bank then please do so! I personally have been saving by transferring from DH's and my bank account over to what has become my SPC account and it's worked well. You choose what's best for you.

Welcome aboard No 15 Vicky, whoever thought we'd get to the 15th year, I certainly didn't not all those years ago! 😯 Still, I'm so glad we did. 

I doubt it'll be long before you have cash in your pot, or however you save Vicky, take great care of yourself.

An excellent start to the year, Cobweb18!! Your Target is on next to your name as normal, all the very best in reaching it. It's definitely very wise to aim higher after reaching your goal on 14!

Hello, could I rejoin this year? My husband wasn't really onboard for the last challenge but after helping with the counting he has been talking about how we could increase the amount this time round!

I will also be paying in cash where possible and leaving my card at home. I find I spend less doing this and I constantly worry about losing my card, especially now they have increased the contactless limit. 

Thank you sue for running this and being so welcoming. I will try to be more active this challenge, I always lurk but never post.
