A very good Thursday, Potters!
Enjoy yourselves everyone and here's
hoping we can all save well and keep VERY
healthy!! Save in a way that's
best for YOU! 😄
If any of you are feeling poorly or
perhaps low in spirits, and take care, and
get well soon, then come on back with us,
for now here are love and hugs to help
look after yourselves ❤️
Brilliant work with the car service, LMD!
Being under budget certainly worked in the
favour of your pot which is now extremely
happy!! 😆
£4.50 is fine, as you've
potted a lot lately, so well done and as you
rightly said it'll all add up come
October!!
Omicron is an absolute pain, and the way
it's gathering pace is amazing!!
Take very great care and don't become a
victim to it for goodness sake!!!
All those bits and bobs are a great bonus
for your pot, Vicky!!! 🤗
Don't let your brain get too fuzzy or
those kiddies will be taking advantage, keep
calm until the last day!! 🥰
Very many thanks to you for your kind
words, Siju. Until the last week we
didn't honestly think he would die, yes he
had a couple of comorbidities, but not that
bad. T & I still can't quite take it in,
the close neighbours either, he was so
lovely, goodness only knows how his
daughters are coping! He wanted to be
holding his younger daughter's hand when she
passed away, but perhaps he will from the
'other side' who knows. We are just back
from talking to John's daughters, 1 &
1/2 hrs that just flew by!
I'm so pleased you all enjoyed yourselves
on Sunday on the beach, even if you did get
rained on! I couldn't work out the LFT
meaning, but T came up with it straight
away, all I could think of was Liver
Function Test!! 🤭
Great news about your potting!!
Thank you so very much for your kind
words, scotmumof3, he was a really
lovely man and insisted on cutting all the
nearby lawns of neighbours during this last
summer since he retired bless him.
I'm so glad you've got a few 'silver
shiners' in your pot. Keep saving them
whenever possible, but not to worry if
you're unable to. If you have any way of
doing so via the bank, then do so by all
means.
So very thanks dear (A) little_sweetie for
your really lovely words. I
feel so sorry for his 2 daughters, the
younger one dying herself from cancer, we
spoke to them yesterday and they had several
laughs about their beloved dad, bless him.
Why do so many deaths happen at Christmas
every year!
I had to laugh at the lines between G and
you, yours was a brilliant response! 😂 Ah
we've all 4 been Boosted then, a great job
done. I think Chris Whitty said it all last
night about Christmas, in other words take
extreme care! We can't even go to John's
Wake because it's too dangerous! His younger
daughter, who was allowed into the hospital all gowned up because of her
condition, had a few things to say about the
nay sayers of the country/world; walk around
the Covid patients and watch and listen!!
My bad tooth is only getting worse, and
I'm certainly not paying £1400 for the 2
worse ones to have root canals so they can
come out, I've had enough of the pain, so
let's hope it won't be long!!
Excellent news about the car MOT!!
A phone call from the Dentist earlier
said he'll extract it on the 6th of
January!! 🤗
A word about not being able to get on the
thread A, when viewing the page
there are 3 dots at the top right, click on
those and your browser will come up, one of
the options is "Add to home", click that and
and then "Add to home/screen" and so long as
you've dropped the page where your currently
viewing the thread (by pressing your bottom
middle button), look on your phone and
you'll see an MSE page pop on your screen,
that's your personal app straight through to
us here! When we start a new page on SPC
just go through the above again and there's
your next page!
Take great care of G & you A. If I'm
unable to see you before, Have a very Merry
Christmas to you both and the family. x🎄☃️x
Ah, then I'm sure it's still Psoriasis
that I have, MrsShazbat, on the
outside of most of my fingers, the Dr told
me some years ago it was due to the
hypothyroidism I have! It gets quite hardish
too. I'd thought you meant it was itchy, a
natural assumption I suppose after all the
years of terrible itching Psoriasis brings
us.
So sorry about DH, I hope he's soon much
better. Such a rotten shame about your loss
of bonus because of it.
I think your mum hit the nail on the head
with her words to you, she's quite right.
Usually so much money is wasted on gifts
that people really don't want, and it's
usually the same with gifts we receive. I
think we have to be careful, give sensibly
priced gifts but not waste money, especially
when everything is going up anyway!! Be careful this weekend!!
I hope DH stays upright and is well enough.
