OK, it was packaged. No idea how I missed it, wondering if they somehow hid it to force me into paying for AV? Found it now anyway. I thought it was strange at the time, all the searches I did turned up nothing except the firewall, all of a sudden it came up on the search.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I'm sure it's not deliberate but Microsoft are indulging in one of their frequent "let's rename stuff to be almost the same but different" moments.
- Windows Security is built-in to Windows and includes an antivirus program called Microsoft Defender Antivirus. (In early versions of Windows 10, Windows Security is called Windows Defender Security Center).
