My broadband and phone package is up for renewal soon. The 'offer' price quoted by Plusnet is £35.40 per month for unlimited fiber and UK + mobile calls.
If i were a New Customer to Plusnet i could get the same package for £31.41 + £70 reward gift card. Both offers for 18 month contract
Would it be too much to expect as a existing customer, to get the same deal as a new customer?

Then simply don't renew and look elsewhere. Loads of better deals out there. I don't know if they're still doing it but I moved to Now Superfast Broadband plus anytime calls for £22 per month plus £90 cashback.1

Other deals are available. May give you something to bounce off.1

For better or worse, this is how the market works - it's not just Plusnet. Also, it's not just the broadband market either - see mobile contracts, car insurance, car breakdown cover etc.
I've had success getting a retention deal with Plusnet by quoting a rival providers offer for new customers, which Plusnet then matched. I had to call up to do this.Alternatively you could go with Cuckoo, a new broadband provider that doesn't follow this pricing model:Unfortunately they don't (yet) have any calling plans, so any landline calls are all billed individually (Cuckoo call charges). I think they're really aiming their service at people who don't use their landlines much, if at all.
(If you have mobile reception and can make the switch to calling from a mobile, there are now some very good value unlimited calling plans available - many at just £5 a month. I appreciate that approach is not for everyone.)0 -

I have a cracking mobile tariff though, unlimited minutes for ~£4 a month. So I don't pay for extras on my landline.
