I took advantage of just such an offer from them back in April, and the terms specified that the offer was only for those who had received the email. I suspect it was targeted at areas where they knew they had plenty of fitters available and were trying to make sure they had enough work to keep them busy.RG2015 said:

It is showing on my on line account (and my daughter's). Don't remember it being there before, just the usual free coffee / plant a tree !It states "from 25/9/23" so is not anew offer. Also shows in the app when clicking "why go smart" but not on the app front page.0

The cynic in me suggests the £10 fine per meter they paid for not reaching the targets means the £50 bribe isn't worth it.molerat said:molerat said:It is showing on my on line account (and my daughter's). Perhaps they were expecting a bigger fine.1 -
It is probably time to allow different rates to be applied to those who refuse installation of smart meters, maybe double the standing charges and 10p per kWh surcharge.2
