Where do you keep your spare change?

Any coins I find go into a friend's daughter's piggy bank. It's mainly odd ones I find at the bottom of drawers and bags as I rarely go out so they are never going to make her rich.
I found a threepenny bit recently but I don't think she would appreciate that!0 -
Interesting facts.
The latest UK’s circulating coin mintage figures include all denominations of circulating coins minted and either released into circulation or requested from HM Treasury and stored at the Royal Mint, ready to go into circulation in the upcoming months.
The actual demand for coins issued into circulation is determined by demand from UK banks and Post Offices. We then respond by issuing coins on behalf of HM Treasury, who ultimately decide how many new coins are issued into circulation. In the event that more stocks of UK coins are required to meet demand, we would seek approval to produce more.
Currently, there are approximately 29 billion coins in circulation in the UK.

My daughter used to collect coins. Old pennies, halfpennies, farthings, florins, half crowns, tanners, shillings and of course the wonderfully stylised threepenny bit.0 -

I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.1 -

Ceramic pot for big coins.
Metal tin for small coins to use at the self checkout.0 -
Very little spare change nowadays with the increased prevalence of places less keen on taking cash. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
In a demi-john.
Anything below a £2 coin goes in (£2 coins wont go in) whenever I get home. A glass "dimple" a 1/3rd of the way up gave me just shy of £400 2 years ago without £1 coins.
Because of Covid and health reasons I've not been able to empty it since. Then I've been dropping the £1 coins in as well.
I'm guessing at at least £2k-£2.5k as I'm just above the straight sides of the demi-john.
.
A nice pot for the two Grandsons for this years Christmas!
And a Guinness or 3 for me!I'm writing a book on plagiarism. It wasn't my idea.2
