other than previously mentioned:
- you can't redirect abroad (last time we moved anyway)
- it'll only be fore a sert number of names, some people / companes insist in using part of the name which might g through
Also you can do extra names if you call them up (up to 9 I believe).

We’ve been in our house for almost 2 years and just 2 days ago, a letter arrived for the previous householder from one of the banks. This isn’t the first time, each time I’ve written ‘no longer at this address, moved out in November 2019, RTS’.At one point, we were getting regular letters for her from Amex, I sent each one back as we didn’t have a forwarding address. Eventually, for something unrelated, she called at our house, I mentioned the Amex letters and asked if she could let Amex know she’d moved. We didn’t receive any more Amex letters after that.
Junk mail and catalogue type mail I simply bin.0 -

I've lived in my house just over 8 years. Still get NHS letters from bowel clinic for annual check up and pension letter from a company for former owner
After sending back for 3 years (so 3 times) I phoned the pension people told them what the letter said and asked them to stop
Still get sporadic ones. The NHS one I haven't phoned about but figured if they have health concerns they can choose to see their GP or whoever. If youre meant to have annual checkups you would know. I just bin them now
Bizarrely they are the only two companies he ever had mail from so must have made some effort to redirect.
I've never set up Royal mail redirection. But I have a list of those I need mail from and never missed an important letter etc. I wouldn't choose to pay royal mail to redirect spam/junk mail when in short term rentals
When we sell up here I would pay as been here so long0
