Neither is wrong surely, it most likely depends on one's settings

I found this information. Seems to reflect what a couple in here have said

I'll get some pictures if I do receive any fines. There is 100% no signage up whatsoever in the car park regarding fines, or even telling you to go inside and enter the reg details

So do " Creative Car Park " fall under the category of private parking ?

Please don't use the F word ... a private parking company cannot FINE anyone. ;)

I don't know where you got that information, but much of it is incorrect and just downright wrong. Use the information from the NEWBIES sticky Announcement which is correct and up to date.

As already said, you won't get a fine, but you might get a parking charge notice though. Yes Creative Car Park come under the category of unregulated private parking company. As already mentioned, they are part of Civil Enforcement Limited.

Don't wait until you receive a PCN before getting photos of the site and signage. Do it asap in case they get changed in the interim.
Do have a polite chat with the landowner/temple elders about what has happened. It is better not to get a PCN in the first place rather than have to fight one afterwards.

It is a complicated matter and you may have to read the newbies several times before the penny drops.

Please don't read that!  You are on a forum with the correct advice on how to beat private parking charges so please don't read other misguided articles.

Read the NEWBIES thread because you will receive MULTIPLE PCNs and yes, Creative are also called CIVIL ENFORCEMENT LTD (we call them CEL for short).

You must appeal them all, one by one, if the Temple won't step in and cancel them (which they or the site owner can).

These are not 'fines' or penalties from any authority.

    No phoning the Parking firm.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

OK thanks for the useful information everyone.
I'll get some pictures ASAP tomorrow.

As said, the only sign is the one inside the building saying " Please enter your reg. details here "  Which I already have taken a photo of.

But when you get your pics, ask if this has caught any other genuine patrons out and insist on being told who contracted with CEL (separate freeholder or the centre themselves?).

You need to know who can tell the PPC to cancel any PCNs once they arrive.

Find out in advance who to complain to, because CEL won't cancel the money themselves (they don't get paid so are incentivised to issue as many PCN s as possible and NOT to cancel them on appeal).

Hence why landowner complaint is 'PLAN A ' in the NEWBIES thread.

OK I understand. A family member of mine has visited the temple for a good 30 years and knows the people who run it very well. So hopefully it works out OK.

Once I've got some  proof pics tomorrow, should I then contact the office at the temple to see what they say ?
