If will be 9-5 using the same hours - if they  cancel my leave and ask me to come back I just wont go back. I get this means no pay and losing out my leave and so on. But first they have to contact me to come back. Chances are they will deactivate my account on my last day.

A full time job with fixed hours but nominally self employed sounds like employer B trying to avoid employment obligations to me.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

The company could only pay minimal SSP for the time off "sick".
They may also have a rule that more than 3 days requires a doctor's note, which may take some getting.
Claiming being sick when not is lying, which could lead to misconduct considerations.
Getting "creative", I'm not sure what the rules are re. isolating due to 'rona symptoms, though the word could get out to the new employer too.

Putting aside how someone who hates their job can accrue 2 yrs worth of annual leave to keep to use in their notice period, the OP has an interesting take on his circumstances:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6212365/random

"I have somewhat a decent job but its nowhere near good enough to what my parents hoped I would have been. I am stuck in this job, which hate but cant leave as I am very unemployable. I cant work with people and get confrontational."

And has previously thought about using his leave to work elsewhere but this time in his own organisation:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5464206/contract-annual-leave

"I was wondering would it be a bad idea if I approached the senior manager of Team B and ask him if he would like me to cover for that contractor? Of course this would be based on my leave booking with my Team A manager."

Oh dear.  Oh dear. Sigh. There's really nothing more to be said....

Thank you thank you! Yes there are several risks with and only way is to keep my head down and not make a fuss with the two weeks left. After that who knows....

Now what I am worried about what happens if I really do get sick ....lol
When you are self employed you will have insurance to cover this

If you are sick whilst with your current employer nothing changes to how it's always been.
He'll only have that insurance if he takes it out himself. I realise you know that, 74jax, but I'm not convinced the OP will realise that there isn't some magical insurance protecting the self-employed.

Considering the contents of that thread,  I think you are making huge assumptions not in evidence anywhere.  Being a company director requires the ability to fill in forms that the average 10 year old could fill in,  then pay a registration fee that is a pittance. Any idiot could do it with their hands tied behind their back.  It doesn't mean they have a clue what they are doing. The OP in the that you quoted thought paying for a will was a waste of money,  and his wishes would be magically observed if he died.  So expecting magical insurance protection really isn't a stretch.
