No joke - EDF Energy are altering my readings and just making them up to my detriment

I only joined late August and have given three readings via the app - every time I do when I go back in they have changed them - to my detriment. I've been back and forth via WhatsApp and then phone. The chap I spoke to said it was indeed unacceptable to falsify my readings, paid me 35 pounds to cover the deficit with my initial reading as I've already had my balance back from my old supplier. I went into the app on Sunday to give another reading, and would you believe it. They've changed my second lot of readings too. I've written to the customer complaint email now and am awaiting a response, but I would really love to hear from anyone that has experience anything like this. I'm astounded.

photograph everything. document all replies. ask for everything in writing. then send a complaint to their complaint department. then ombudsman. then small claims court.
this is from experience, do not fear small claims court if it comes to it.1 -

Is the initial reading on your account different to the initial reading you gave. What are they, what are the readings you are submitting & what are they being changed to.The fact you have been given £35 for the difference indicates that the initial was wrong but not enough to dispute.0
