Landowner asked us to talk to UK CPM and make them call him, I think this might not work because landowner is not talking directly to UK CPM.Redx said:I doubt that the parking company will cancel it , it's gone too far , with a court claim , getting it cancelled expired months or years ago !
A landowner cancellation may work , but be careful with the words being used , too many people blow their own toes off !0 -
UKCPM won't call anyone, why should they?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's still worth pursuing because the landowner is jointly and severally liable , along with UK CPMDaveST30 said:

The alternative option is carry on defending the court claim
There is no obligation on either party to engage or stop the roboclaim , so just because you want a magic bullet doesn't mean you will obtain one
UK CPM won't be interested in losing money due to a cancellation2 -
I have already goofed up during appeal by selecting that I was the driver who parked the vehicle at the location, at this point I would play safe and prepare for defence as much as possible, or else I might create more trouble for myself.Redx said:

Saying you were driving isn't a bad thing. Your defence should be an honest one and UKCPM can probably hold you liable under the POFA 2012 as registered keeper, anyway.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Below is the Appeal message with typos as is, I had accepted that I am the registered keeper, I guess this is my goof up and this is the reason they think that I might lose in court. Tomorrow I will get all the pictures from the site.I had visited Flat 20, and kept the parkinng permit on my dashboard. Later,I found it on the mat which had fallen at some point. Parking permit was there but unfortunatelyit had fallen down, anc couldn't be seen.1

Sounds OK. Who do you think may have caused the permit to slip off the dash when they were leaning over the car...it wasn't you...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I will keep this mind and mention this in my defence.Coupon-mad said:Sounds OK. Who do you think may have caused the permit to slip off the dash when they were leaning over the car...it wasn't you...1 -
Today I have found one evidence, definitely UK CPM is trying their best to extort the money.
When I had parked the car the main sign at the entrance was completely hidden behind the bush(second pic), and when I visited the sight today the bush is trimmed down and sign is clearly visible-first pic (luckily I have photos from the past).

Parking inspector knew this and has not taken hidden signboard into account instead picture of the Signboard which is far from the parked vehicle (first picture) and it's not possible to see that signboard when you get out of the car.
Hope it makes sense to put this in my defence !1 -
Add a concise paragraph in the defence , no pictures , just a simple observational paragraph about obscured signs
Elaborate with pictorial exhibits in the WS , which is in several months time3
