I have received below reply from Gladstone in an email:

    Good Morning,

    Thank you for your email.

We are agreeable to placing the file on hold for 30 days from the date of this email.

In the absence of a substantive response or payment in full within the time-scale specified, our Client may elect to issue a claim without further notice.

    Kind Regards,

    Olivia

    Legal Assistant

I am still waiting reply from UK CPM regarding SAR, I am assuming that I have to wait for the reply from UK CPM and then start preparing for defense ?

No, there is no need to wait.

Your Defence does not depend on whatever may be returned in response to a SAR.

Any response to a SAR is likely to be of more use at Witness Statement time.

And by the way... there is no letter 's' in the word Defence.  :)

You should be narrowing the issues with Gladstones in November. by replying again once you see the SAR, and telling them your position (not offering money or admitting fault, by the way!).  Basically stating your defence facts and encouraging their client to withdraw and cancel.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Thanks for your replies.
I was able contact my friend whom I visited that day and asked him to get the tenancy agreement and requested him to get the PCN cancelled.
His letting agent has replied and requested to forward the email to UK CPM and if needed they can call them for full confirmation.
Will ask my friend to forward same email to info@uk-cpm.com and requesting to cancel the PCN.

This step is a bit late in the game I guess, but will give it a try!

Below is the email I have drafted to send it to UK CPM through my friend whom I visited, please let me know if this seems good !

My friend had visited me to drop the vehicle for my use on Date, he had parked car at the correct location which is for visitor's parking for below mentioned address:

    Friend's address

Unfortunately he has received PCN for illegit parking which is not true, he had appealed on your online form but never received any response from your team.

Please cancel PCN - aaaaaaa, and let me know if you need any further information from me. I have attached my council tax receipts and PCN for your reference.
Below email is the communication between me and my letting agent, you can contact/call them for full confirmation.

  • I have received SAR response from Uk CPM with all the documents and information they have about me until now.
    AND
Glastones also replied that they if the amount is not paid in time then client will issue a claim without further notice.

There was no response of the email from my friend to UK CPM about cancelling ticket.

Could you please help me to prepare myself for my defense, any link or templates would be extremely helpful.

Also read the second post in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum in announcements

So both sticky threads started by coupon mad are in announcements

    Nb , it's DEFENCE , no S. 😜😜

Yes, I can help you with that.

Go back to the first reply you ever received on this thread where the suggestion was to send a SAR and how to do that.

That post where you found the SAR guidance is the one you need to be reading for everything about preparing for dealing with a court claim.

    And as I said before...

You haven't yet received a County Court Claim Form have you?
  • Thanks, I will starting preparing. Thanks for correcting me!
