It says that they are being investigated for financial irregularities. What help do you need? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2

Do Gladstones know you contacted PCM for an SAR? I think you need to tell Gladstones that you haven't had a response and therefore don't have the information you need in order to understand your position, and until you get what you are asking for, how can you do anything?
And they can try taking you to court without complying with PaP but they will look rather silly if the do so.
Not advising to do this, but when the PaP timing expired in my case with OPS and Gladstones, I simply told them they'd missed the boat and they went away for about a year...{Signature removed by Forum Team - if you are not sure why we have removed your signature, it's probably Gladstones}3 -

Yes I informed Gladstones (see my email)Dear sir/madam at Gladstone solicitors
@
I hereby inform you that I am seeking debt advice but I deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.
I have sent your client Uk Car Park Management a Subject Access Request (SAR).
Yours sincerely

I started this thread to help out a friend. Coupon Mad advised me to send Emails to PCM and Gladstones, which I have done and today we got the above email. And I informed both parties via email as instructed. see email........

So reply (SLOWLY, at the end of the latest deadline their letter mentions) and say you are still awaiting the SAR data from their client but that you also require the solicitor to fulfil their obligations under the PAP, including narrowing the issues and supplying you with an image of the contract (sign) that their client is relying upon. Not a stock 'here's one we made earlier' image of what a sign might look like, but the actual evidence of the contract in situ on signs that day (dated photos).
Until that and the SAR are supplied, the PAP has not been adhered to and any claim would be abusive conduct in litigation, behaviour that you don't expect to see from a legal firm with a current 2021 SRA prosecution that is in the public domain, published in detail on the SRA website.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Out of interest, is there no penalty if they don't adhere to the PaP timings? If not, what is the incentive for them to even bother?{Signature removed by Forum Team - if you are not sure why we have removed your signature, it's probably Gladstones}2

It is a scam all explained in the newbies, have you read them yet/You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

It would be an abuse of the court process and possibly against SRA standards but that's about it!nicestrawb said:Out of interest, is there no penalty if they don't adhere to the PaP timings?
