OMG can you all forgive me? I completely forgot about the list for today. We had a date night, a very rare occurrence lately, and watched a lot of the TiVo'd programmes with a homemade fakeaway. So I hope you can forgive me. List is now up for today.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Come out, come out, wherever you are 🙂
Morning my lovelies xx
And breathe - it's the weekend woot woot.
Had a bit of a meltdown on Thursday having been called into a meeting with my colleagues and top dog - never good news! - thanked for all our hard work, you're a fantastic team blah blah blah. By the way we're bringing in a totally new way for you to work......on 1st November. No negativity allowed. It's happening. Thing is the managers haven't a clue what we actually do so new initiatives are always fraught with problems. Anyway I was asked for my thoughts, I asked for time to reflect (as I was mentally composing my letter of resignation at the time) and yesterday I sent a wonderfully worded email asking how this, this, this, this, oh and this will work in practice. And if top dog says that's negative I will say that I'm anticipating possible hiccups in the new system with a view to producing a smooth transition and a positive outcome.
In the meantime my lovely colleagues are saying to me please don't leave we can't do this without your knowledge and support. I'm not going to do anything rash, but I'm going to work out the 'minimum I need to earn' which I've being going to do for months anyway, update my cv, and complete an online application form for the local authority- to save and tweak when appropriate posts are advertised....because it's of novel length!!!! Well, novella 😉
Yesterday I spent a lot of time helping/training a newish colleague who was struggling- and she said she'd learned loads and felt much more confident in the role. So that gave me a boost because the last time I spent a day training a colleague they went off sick with stress the next day. For 3 months.
Thursday made me wobble and it was not pleasant but I'm proud of myself for how I've coped. So far ...not counting my chickens...
Sorry I know that is all off topic, but I needed to vent. Thank you ❤
Right. Now. Flying. I've made my bed and supped my first brew.
Round 1 (you made me smile Fayolle ❤)
Brew 2 and toast
Get dressed
Bring down laundry hamper
Sort washing into loads
Set 1st load swishing
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
That'll do for starters- just to get things rolling.
Mahoosive hugs to you all ❤
Rxx

Morning all,
Round have a huge hug from me. My inbox is always open if you want to chat xx
Quick visit from me as we are getting to lego club for 9.30. They are also doing crafts this morning so DD, who normally reads her library book whislt DS builds, is delighted. We then need to collect some free offcuts of wood for the fire, I have soup already made for lunch and a do-nothing film/book/napping afternoon.
Love to all xx9 -
Morning all,
Quick check in on my way past, off to the allotment because I feel that I should. We are pretty much stuck at home anyway, as 2 major roads are closed near-ish by, so every man and his dog is using the village as a rat run cut through.Like ASB, soup is already made for lunch (wonky carrot and coriander from last week’s bargaliscious Mr L veg box).
Back later, have a lovely day xx8 -
Round 1 completed + first load pegged out and bleach glugged down loo.
Second load will have to wait as I'm out of pods.
Going to see what the postman brought then have a sarnie.
And then an Admin afternoon is long overdue.
