I've sent my post with a proof of posting. as i am putting down for several weeks unless i leave the conversation open I lose where i am - sounds stupid i know but just not very technical minded. thank you

  • @DisruptiveLad have the case details been released yet so they can be quoted in future cases? I have a hearing in St Helens in July. Just trying to prepare my information for that so I can submit it to court.
    Thanks

I'm not sure what you are expecting in terms of 'the case details', all that will show will just be a couple of sentences outlining the Judges decision, it's highly unlikely to say why the decision was reached.

While you can quote the fact that there was a successful case against VCS, giving the name of the Judge, the Court and the reference number, there is no precedent set by a decision in the small claims court. 'Your' Judge will make his/her own judgment based on the facts of your case, not someone else's.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
