I think you also have to watch what you eat with the jab too. A couple of people on the diaries are doing it.

  • Aw Hotdog, I think at times you are as self-defeating as I am. I did SW years ago (after my last baby) as I struggled to lose the extra weight (4st, I appreciate you have more than that to lose). What got me to my ideal weight eventually was forming really close friendships with the SW leader and other ladies who went there. We all swapped numbers (this was in the days before WA groups etc which would have been ideal) and we helped one another on bad days/ weeks. I really used to struggle with my mental health so would sabotage my diet feeling like, what's the point. Someone there suggested, how about you just try to stick to it for 2 days, then 3 days per week...building up to 6 days and 1 treat day. I eventually got there. It did take a long time to change my habits - I was a bottle of wine a day and large slab of chocolate kinda girl because of the amount of stress I was under. Habits can be changed. It just takes a long time. Don't give up on yourself, you seem like a really lovely person and very sensitive to the world, like I was (am) and I think sometimes when we are so sensitive we do comfort eat (and drink in my case) too much. Meditation and re-wiring my thought patterns is what actually really helped me change my ways in the end. I have also heard hypnosis is good for it - much like quitting smoking.
I hope the lodger brings you some relief. I can imagine the anxiety with allowing a total stranger into your house to share your space. So I don't blame you for having backed out before. If you can make it to letting them in this time, make sure it is on a month by month basis to begin with so you can terminate it if you feel unsafe in any way. I have lots of friends who have had great experiences with lodgers though and paid down their debt and mortgage quickly so I think it will be okay.

I have just changed the title of my Thread from 'My Plan of action shared' to 'My Plans of Actions and Dreams' as the title had been bothering me and now it does not. I have included dreams as I dream ideas and imagine living them and reality either hits or I go with it. I have been thinking about dieting and I keep coming to the conclusion to avoid it, and instead try and be healthier, I am not going to properly start this plan until I get another job, as it is all erratic and unsettled until that point.

    Inspired by Debtfreewannabe321.
  • Happy new title 😁
Good luck with the dreams. If you dream it you can achieve it!

Thank you @debtfreewannabe321 I really appreciate the comment.

Today I have started well I have taken over MDs groceries, which she was pleased with. I have also done what I planned with Xero course and done two chunks. Next I need to tackle the housework, I think I wil start a new list for this, which I will prepare soon. The house is not too bad, however I want it to be close to immaculate for Monday when the new lodger arrives, of course it will never be immaculate..but you know what I mean.

I have just realised there is another course which I will need to do..that is xero payroll eak...I am not keen but I may as well get it while I am there, also If I get the job (which it looks likely) I will need it, as I am suppose to do some payroll on the job..this will be the first time I have done this, so I am curious, and it will be good to have done the course.

The list in order of actioning:-

    1) Clean Office Desk
    1.5) Clean oven
    2) Hoover
    3) Doesn't need mop.
    4) Clean Bathroom
    5) Empty Washing Machine
    6) Put More Washing On.
    7) R&R

    O.A.O.

  • Exciting day today! Good luck with the lodger!
When do you hear back from the job? Do you know how long they're interviewing for?
