Nice weather today and so did some gardening. Later on a bit of sewing and tonight will be doing more knitting.
I made some cakes and DH got on with some bits and pieces on the dolls house which is coming along nicely now.
Breakfast was a bacon butty and we had an early tea of lasagne with some cauliflower from our neighbour.

A spendy few days as it is DH’s birthday today. We went out yesterday despite the weather and were out last night at friends for dinner. Today we went to a local Chinese buffet style for lunch, then to a hotel just for cups of tea. Later today we will have cake and prosecco.
Very put out indeed that I didn’t get the emergency alert and no idea why! I am not too sure about the fact “they” can hijack our phones for such a purpose – but now am extremely miffed that I didn’t get it. I must have changed some settings but no idea why or how! I’ll just leave well alone J

Had a good sort out today and clean up. Got rid of a floor standing light on our local Facebook group. Re-organised some pictures on the wall.
Money shuffling done ready for our holidays on Sunday – we are off to the Isle of Wight for a week on the motorbike. Have to be very frugal with the packing!
My friend came round this afternoon for our sewing and gossip session.
Breakfast was bacon and pikelets with some maple syrup, skipped lunch but had cake with the friend and tonight we had stir fry using up some leftover lamb.

Hope DH had a good birthday and you have a great holiday. Where on the IOW are you going? Love it there. Spent all my childhood holidays there with grandparents.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Ooh yes Osbourne House is lovely. Not been there for years. We were actually only talking about going back there this year. I want to do a trip down memory lane now my mum has passed away the other year. She was born and raised there.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Today we did most of our packing. Load of washing done. A visit to the dump.
Went to Sainsbogs and got some food to take with us – we tend to use the long life pasta salads as they are flat to pack and don’t need a fridge. Great when travelling. I also got a load of kit kats for snacks.
Breakfast was toasted muffin, lunch soup and tonight it’s a usey up tea of corned beef crispbreads (yellow sticker) with cauliflower cheese and some baked beans.
Getting really excited now about the Isle of Wight - only been there twice before and both on day trips. I think that's a lovely idea to do a trip down memory lane.Debt free and Keeping on Track2 -
I think you will love it over there. Don't bother with the Needles, far too commercialised IMHO, but obviously some people like it. Hope the weather is kind to you.Making the debt go down and savings go up

You will love the isle of wight. The views you will get from the road in west wight are amazing. Love the model village. Yarmouth is another good place to visit as well.1
