Yes, same here, switch away completed 28th Sept. Green owe me about £300, nothing heard from Shell as yet, guessing we'll be the last ones to be contacted for this scenario. Wish they could at least acknowledge us in the meantime!Poundwize said:

I've been contacted by Shell to say they're taking over my energy supply from Green Energy. I was about £330 in credit with Green which I understand will be protected. However on checking my bank statement yesterday a further £122 was taken by direct debit on 7th October 2021. I believe Green went insolvent around the 27th September so I'm a bit concerned that they've taken this payment. Appreciate any thoughts on this. It's unlikely that Shell took the payment as I would imagine that would involve a new direct debit mandate and Green is specified on the bank statement..0

I've had two emails from them.
'Welcome to Shell Energy' on 27 September.
'Here’s what you need to know about your new tariff' on 7 October.
As I expected I'm on Flexible 6 tariff1 -
I supplied my details to shell via pm and my account has been set up. I do have a problem because I had smart meters installed 3 weeks before green went bankrupt. The electricity one seems to be working fine . The gas one though communicating properly (verified by citizens advice smart meter checker) has not been properly setup at greens end so shell have no record of a new meter and are estimating readings from a now scrapped old manual cubic feet meter. However following discussions with Kyle at shell and plenty of evidence supplied by myself of meter change I'm confident this will be resolved. Thanks for all your help Kyle.
