You read all recently completed court claim cases on here within the last 18 months for a start

Plus you read the telephone hearings thread by coupon mad posted over 18 months ago too

You read that court order carefully and follow it to the letter

You read and follow the 12 numbered steps in the defence template post too , compiled by KeithP
Thanks Redx, is there any chance you could forward any of the above links to me, it is very difficult to find old posts on this platform.
     Thanks again.

It is certainly possible for you have to a face to face hearing if you have any physical or other disabilities which may impair you on a remote hearing
Someone i assisted recently recently in a non parking case was listed for a CVP hearing but was dyslexic and they found with the advent of video meetings he found it impossible to articulate himself over zoom with work colleagues.  So when he got the hearing information from the court, he emailed the court and explained why he needed a face to face hearing and the court then sent a new order out with a new hearing order

I believe the way you can articulate yourself in person is vastly different to that on a video/phone call

Thank you, I am not confident with virtual interviews ,I prefer face to face. I will think of what to say  in the email to convince the court for a face to face hearing.

what else can I do to get ready?
Read the thread by bargepole about the new Code of Practice.

For your WS and evidence.  Recent examples of how that looks are by @jrhys or @Nosy

But of course you now need to bring in the extra things in the Govt's new Code of Practice because (whilst it's not retrospective) that gives a huge steer for Judges.  You have your WS deadline in your court Order.

Did you get your WS done yet?  What's your deadline to file & serve it all (detailed on the hearing order)?

thank you @Coupon-mad , Not yet, I don’t have a deadline yet and also I can’t really remember the timeline of events. I am hoping Gladstones will send me theirs then I can use the timeline for mine.

Your deadline was either in the hearing Order or in the first Notice of Allocation.

The notice of allocation stated that the hearing date will be sent to me later, and also stated it will be virtual. So I have not received a virtual link since then.
Do you think I should give them a ring?

Ah, so you don't yet have a hearing date and the Allocation Notice definitely didn't have anything about all parties having to file and serve witness statement/evidence by 14 day before the hearing?
